Frederic Duchatelet sourced his SEC Convertibles via Styling Garage in Hamburg according to Chris Hahn. Not surprised to see that plastic "sail" piece that covers the seatbelt extended area was cracked. Mine is too! They all crack and are now impossible find. There is a place in Poland that is 3D printing replacements.

My favourite car. The front wide body part looks great just not convinced that the black chrome grill does it justice......it lacks something between the front head lights.....too much of a dark area. The back wide part with the 4 hollow stripes and the blend into the boot spoiler not great and the black rims does not look good on that car.....looks like a car running on 4 spare tyres. Sometimes moderate mods are better and to black out everything is never the only option.....sometimes gives the impression that the creativity ran out so they just made everything black. Still a legend the SEC...even among newer models.

Just picked up a 560 sec amg.....the koening one too expensive for me......gotta doo some work on mine.....will be ready in 2 weeks max.....gonna go on a vacation drive.....cant wait:))) my girl hates it:))) so its perfect :))) she says it eats too much fuel and its too old:))) dumb girl.....got another 2 cars a grand Cherokee and a jaguar xf dor day to day use.Im gonna buy a w124 also e300 4matic found one in decent shape close to me for free basically......hasnt been on the road for 6-7 years but was kept in a garage.....the widow couldnt part with it.....only 150000km 1200 euros for it.....gonna spend another 3-4k to get in in perfect shape mind you in Romania mechanics are waaay cheaper.....we have on every street a mechanic shop....bad roads dirt and people dont spend cash on maintaining the cars.....my dad had a w124 when i was a kid and he sold it.....always wanted that car.....he was the sort of guy who bought brand new cars and lost a lot of money on them every 5 years while doing 15k km a year.....so go figure
