This is a pretty solid little workbench. While once you figure out how it comes together, it is physically Easy to assemble th-cam.com/users/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh by yourself. But the diagrams explaining the steps are really pretty bad. I could not get the handle pins in all the way despite multiple attempts, so I just used a screw I had on hand for the 2nd handle. I could not get the first pin in further or pull it back out. You are supposed to hammer it in, but I had no leverage and the handle is plastic and I did not want to risk breaking it. I will get a lot of use out of the bench because of the convenient size and height. It does fold up nicely for storage. They even explain how to fold it so you don't get pinched...that is important!
Came over from r/diy, stayed for the build, subscribed for more. This is a seriously awesome workbench. I may just steal the idea for the one I'm about to build.
Well I took me till today, watching this video, to realise I find attraction in practical well skilled women! Very impressed by this. Wish I had a fraction of this skill and dedication.
Watched this because of the Matchfit/Microjig usage, then subscribed! I used Matchfit once to further something my wife is interested in and loved it. Been looking for a way to use it on a new Moravian Bench I just finished without ruining the traditional look of the bench. This video gave me the kernel of the idea!
I love this bench top bt I do like the build for the Bench Drill I have. I was trying to think of someth to use as hold down option and u made my mind up for me girl. I love ur Bench top though. That's a brilliant idea. I only have a crappy vise on mine but only bcos I cannot do the same thing to my MDF top. I need to build a top from 2v4's like u did. The music was cool in the video . Keep up the great work girl. Watching in Ireland. Only came across ur channel this morning so I sub'd and liked, etc. all that good stuff. Keep doing ur thing.
Great bench! Are you happy with it? Has it cupped after 2 years? Still happy with microjig top? I"m seriously considering following your example.... I mean it... nice bench. Thanks for the vid!
WHAT?!?!?! You actually put your tools away??? After all that beautiful work on that shelf/benchtop??? Seriously, though, I really like the idea of have a track system for clamping purposes. Awesome craftwork!
Great video. I’m new to micro-jigs, but your application is great. I’m changing my bench top soon and might try some clamp-integration with bench-dogs or micro-jigs or both. Thanks.
Great video. I am enjoying this series. This is probably a dumb question… But on your handheld router, did you make your “ edge guide”or is this something that you bought with your router? Thanks!
No dumb questions here! That was an off cut of a piece I jointed and squared previously. I basically just set my router up above the cut, squared the off cut and clamped it into place.
This is all so far beyond my "skill"... impressive to watch though. I think a slower video on the planning process that got you to the design would be very instructive.
@@HonestWorkDesigns Hey, can you point me at another YT content creator who might be good for those of us who are nowhere near your level? (and would like to get closer to it) btw, liked, subscribed, reminders (all) : )
While I still feel like I’m pretty basic, stumpy nubs is a great channel to learn from! He’s not super project based, but shows a lot of great techniques, great info on tools, etc.

Reddit sent me here, stayed for the chill music and nice build
Thanks, Yura!
I'm about to build a work bench.. This has changed my mind for the design. I like it. Thanks
Cool, Ralph! I’ve really liked the system, just have to stay on top of clean up dust!
Hello, very nice work, and I'm sorry to hear that your back is affected by the effort. Lots of love!!
Very clever use of 2X4's. Nice job.
Thanks, Paul!

Steal away, Kris! It’s working out great for me so far!
Great project, you made up my mind for me. Will making one this weekend. And no, I didn’t fall asleep.
1:52 Nice catch!
Ha! Thanks, Stuart!
Nice work! Fun to see the hand plane work mixed in with all the power tools!
Thanks, Ralph! Huge fan of the micro jig system. 🙌🏻

Put the front Micro Jig part on a hinge to use as a door and close it with a strong door clamp.
thanks, I'm stealing this
How are the micro jig tracks holding up on the solid wood surface two years later? Thanks for the video!
Nice build, now I have an idea of what to do with that extra bench taking up space in my shop...
Nice, Andrew! That’s awesome!
Great bench build. I've been mulling over a bench like this for a while. Life keeps getting in the way LOL
Haha! I hear that, JJ! Thanks 🙏🏼
pleasing to watch for amateurs, painful to watch for professionals

That’s awesome! I hope it pans out exactly how you want it to!
really enjoyed your video. I think you should add some better lighting in your shop.
You’re def not wrong haha!

Very good. Would appreciate more views of the completed project
Thanks for sharing that!

Nice work
Thanks 🙏🏼
Nice build- thank you. Question : do you find the little dovetail trenches fill up with junk / crud / debris ?
What was the spacing you chose for the dovetails. Thanks
How does one break a jointer?
I laughed way too hard at 1:27, that just came out of nowhere.
What can I say, I like to have a good time 😂
Nice!

I like the mask when cutting wood.
One wrong inhalation and you are done.

Thanks, Anthony - good feedback.

New to the channel. What wood clamps did you use when you glued the top together?
Tidy! 😎🎙✅

Grandpa told me to never store my hand planer with the base down!
