Love learning more about this. I am not a Tech but love this stuff since I have been playing since 2013. I currently use 30 bbs. When I started I used 23 then .25 the 28s. Now I am at 30s lol. Now people are using 32s outdoor lol. It's crazy how much more common the heavier bbs are since I started. But I love how perfect it is not over 400 fps and not going over 1.5 j.
Idk about you but with me rocket/Shs sector gears apply to much upwards pressure on the piston compared to the stock. This might not be a problem on all pistons, but it was for all of mine.

Great video! I actually went and bought a Maxx Hop up after watching this video last week. I have it feeding and shooting like a dream. My only issue is my mag release button is now super tight due to the bb feeding chamber. Did you run into this issue? Any tips on how to solve this problem?
very good results , as for the DMR build makes me wonder because in my country no M4s/M16s qualify for dmrs except the SPR mod0 platforms , do you guys alow M4 dmrs ?
It depends on the field but generally is doesnt matter what the airsoft gun looks like. As long as it doesnt shoot too hot. Only when we do milsim games that it matters.
How do you figure out the air volume ratio? I wanna get 1.9 joules with .4 for a dmr i have a 130 spring in it right now, i have a full cylinder on the way and compression upgrades.
Hey bro. Great vid. How was your stock krytac air nozzle. Would you change it to one with a better seal?. Ive seen videos about the stock krytac air nozzle doesn't have a good seal. ( No o ring ) Just wondering if this is true. Cheers.
Its fine the way it is. You'll gain little performance and it also depends on the brand of nozzle with oring you go with. My favorite combo is EPeS nozzle and EPeS EF (extra fit) cylinder head. It always gives maximized seal with absolutely no leaks even with the nozzle all the way forward. It also NEARLY eliminates nozzle wobble. Which nozzle wobble is ONE of the causes of mid cap syndrome.
@@wyshtechairsoft I purchased the Prometheus one that's specifically for krytac m4s series.. As I have the trident spr. Very curious on the "little performance" it would have. I haven't put it on yet. Will update when I do so. Thanks for your information and replying back !
Can i use a 6.05 380mm barrel for .4s at 400 fps (1.5j)? and by your experience whats the best bb weight and barrel lenght for a 1.5j aeg? would a .32g bb "perform" better? thank you
The quick answer, No. Your goal is to match your air volume of your barrel vs your cylinder COMPRESSION ZONE volume to the weight of your bb. I highly recommend reading this article about the "What Barrel Length goes with what bb weight in an AEG?". Link: www.airsoftsociety.com/threads/what-barrel-length-goes-with-what-bb-weight-in-an-aeg.153191/
@@wyshtechairsoft the article says about 6.03 barrels, i dont know if using a 6.05 barrel would make diference, and about the 1.5 joule question, i would like to know if a .32 performs better than a .40, in my 1,8J SR25 im using .40s in a 420mm 6.05 barrel
I just changed my compression system but went with a full cylinder and a 455mm 6.03mm barrel. I usually use .28g and sometimes .32g, what you think is that’s fine or should I go shorter
@daniramirez6043 With the full cylinder and a 6.03 barrel. You want your barrel to be around 365mm long. I say around because I dont know the exact measurements for your rifle's cylinder diameter and compression distance. Though it wont make much of a difference anyway unless you want to shoot heavier bbs like .48g and trying to hit targets 500ft away. Lol
You're absolutely correct but this video was to keep the rifle 1.5J or lower and STILL be able to sufficiently shoot .40g as you cannot shoot a .40g bb without proper air/volume ratio adjustment. Which in this video was supposed to show how that works.
Im gonna get one of those gear chips for the tappet. I learned alot from this video.
Good video man! I hope you do more krytac builds.
Im sure there will be more!

Right?! Heavier bbs tend to hold their momentum a lot longer than lighter bbs. Heck, I use .48g bbs in my DMR for those 150 yard shots.

It depends on the piston. Mainly the SHS pistons but this isnt an issue for the Begadi Redux piston.
I have had the opposite problem. With some pistons the stock sector gear puts too much upward pressure, and replacing it with a SHS sector solves it.
Your finished fps with .4 is almost as fast as my stock fps with .32 (287). Crazy good efficiency you got
Its all about air volume ration and a DAMN good compression set.
mine is 500 fps. 455 edgi inner barrel, 155 element spring, brass cylinder head, double o-ring nozzle, stock enc piston body, warwolf piston head
Great video
Thanks!

Nope, not with epm mags. You could file down the mag release so its not so tight.

Bevel is known to failure and the sector gear tappet timing sucks.
