Thanks, heh. It was all filmed on my trusty Canon 600D / Rebel T3i, with a Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 lens. I stabilized a lot of the footage a tiny bit, but generally the wide angle made it easier to make it look steady. ;)

Did you end up seeing the Wall of Hats? I loved it when I visited Valve with 9 other acquaintances (around the same time as Game Informer's visit). Big Picture mode was just about to be released at the time and the Steam Controller had not yet been unveiled.
Both of the turrets, the Sentry gun and the portal turret where made by Weta Workshop, a New Zealand based company that did all the costumes and weapons for The Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit. Just a piece of trivia.
