What I love about A7X is that they explore many new and interesting themes in their music rather then keeping to just one constant theme that is present in most music these days- sex, drugs and breakups. Each of their albums express a new theme, particularly from their self titled to present album. In Nightmare we truly feel the pain they went through after losing their best friend and drummer Jimmy Sullivan, and The Stage- holy shit it has to be one of their best. Not many musicians in modern days would strive to explore the theme of science within their music, but A7X did. How this band has evolved really blows my mind. Exist has to be one of their number one songs- it has to be. Avenged Sevenfold NEEDS to win that grammy. They have to. I believe in A7X xx
The Timelapse of the Universe 0:00-1:31 The almost empty universe 1:31-2:20 The Big Bang 2:20-4:06 The constant yet instability formation of stars and exo planets 4:06-4:40 The formation of the Milky way. A place utterly insignificant and almost unregarded among the other millions 4:40-5:20 Earth formed and a part of us slips away forming the moon, which gravitates towards Earth. Forever then. 5:20-6:10 Our planet Earth revolving around it's axis, cooling down... 6:10-6:56 Water showering over Earth and the so thought Art begins 6:56-7:26 Evolution takes place from the first anaerobic heterotrophic bacteria to the hominids 7:26-11:45 Humans. "Until the rise of a new visionary culture, the cosmic perspective; a perspective in which we are one, fitting neither of the above nor below, but within."
This is one of those videos that humble me in an existential way. Many of us claim that humanity is a mistake and irredeemable, and that we cause too much chaos in this world to do any good. However, this video proves something different. Chaos, randomness, and wild events are what created and shaped this world. Earth was built, destroyed, and rebuilt naturally until it became a habitable and healthy planet. It is only natural that we as a product of this world would do the same. We will continue to make mistakes and rebuild, rinse and repeat, until we finally get it right. Once that happens, we will be ready to venture out beyond our rock. Not as one single race, nation, or culture, but as an entire species of individuals. Of course, that won't be the end of it. We will continue to make mistakes, figure things out eventually, and then go on until again we get it right. It's a perpetual cycle of creation, and whether it is divine will or simply the nature of all things, we cannot deny that it exists.
Brilliant work. These images especially in the last 5 minutes are exactly what i had in my head while listening to the song. Like how the world has evolved around us and the meaning of our existence which is the exact meaning of the song. I was hoping someone would make something like this. Well done man
Kwstas Samaras: " Like how the world has evolved around us and the meaning of our existence which is the exact meaning of the song." I'm sorry, but are you implying that the universe revolves around us? If so, then I'd have to disagree. I mean, Neal DeGrasse Tyson's speech is basically about believing that this belief is extremely arrogant and that there's so much more o ut there.
I said E-volved not RE-volved. I know my english is not the best but dont get hung up on a phrase or a technicality. I think most people understand what i mean. I also believe there's so much more out there.

It has. But 80% of it is just instrumental. Even so, I don't think it's impossible to make a lyric video out of this. Especially with the song's concept. However, I think we would have already seen it if they were planning to make it.
Haha, I've seen this documentary a bunch of times. It's probably my favorite video to learn about the Earth. And you've just coupled it with an amazing song from one of my favorite bands.
So this is one of my favorite songs of all-time (Saw A7X in concert seven times since 2011). And I have to say, this video captures it immaculately. Kudos to you, my good sir. You nailed it.
Avenged Sevenfold always had different genres on their each album, many people hate it but that's why I love it! This is one of my fav A7X song! Great job with video
wow. this is pretty much what went through my head when I listen to this song. I love it when Matt starts singing "sailing away beyond the reach of anyone" the camera timing on all of the vocals made me feel like I was flying with Matt's voice. again amazing job.
This is how education should be taught.. Dramatic. Exciting! Thrilling. Also its a proven study that people who learn while listening to metal perform exceptionally better than country or rap. Something to do with Metal and Classical music having the key chord structures. Key chords tones and vibrations are keys to unlocking higher consciousness .. Theory.. We don't learn.. We already know everything and we remember.. All information within our reality is stored in our genetics.

I'm not going to lie I was very skeptical when I saw a video put out by someone other than the band, but this video was incredible and definitely does the song justice. Very fitting images that are just as thought provoking as the song itself. Awesome video!
I must say... you did an amazing job with this. It kind of reminds me of "Dark Side of The Moon" over "The Wizard of Oz", but much better! The timing actually did fit well on your adaptation, even with the video sped up. Watched the entire thing, and will most definitely watch again! Thanks for this!
I feel like this song is so underrated. This song is amazing, definately my favorite song of A7X. I really hope that they keep up this kind of music making. You can hear their enthousiasm and creativity and years of experience as a band. I love the route the band took with this album and absolutely hope they will keep up this work :D
I just discovered this video yesterday and I've rewatched it at least 6 times since then. It's simply amazing. And I ordered this album right after seeing it.

While this song "Exist" is amazing in several ways, Tuomas Holopainen's (Nightwish) "The Greatest Show On Earth" is more like an opera. Different styles of metal music, but I really like both.

Jeez we get it, they’re a good band. No need to keep sucking the kool aid out of their dicks

seriously i would write a 10 page paper on why they are the best if i had to
Why is Avenged Sevenfold called A7x?
@@Relics275 it's from the bible. "Sevenfold" means "7 times"

RazeD Stoney they said in an interview it was based off the Big Bang theory and the evolution of earth

This is a documentry called the story of earth. the video is just ripped off. not even edited jjust a 15 min clip taken with a song over it
Lyrics
I. The Creation
[instrumental]
II. Earth
Our truth is painted across the sky
In our reflection we learn to fly
No hand to hold us
No one to save us from tomorrow
Sailing away, beyond the reach of anyone
Far beyond the dreams of everyone
No light to follow
A shot in the dark
Does anybody know?
Sailing away, beyond the reach of anyone
Far beyond the dreams of everyone
High from the heavens
I can't see the pain
Does anybody care?
Think for a moment of all the lives
Stripped of their essence before their time
We stand to conquer
But is there nothing left tomorrow?
I'm sailing away, beyond the reach of anyone
Far beyond the dreams of everyone
There's no light to follow
A shot in the dark
Does anybody know?
Sailing away, beyond the reach of anyone
Far beyond the dreams of everyone
High from the heavens
I can't see the pain
Does anybody care?
This song just made earth's origins look intense as hell, and I swear this would make a really good amusement park ride
Juan Sanchez I know, right? this is amazing!
Songs are not made like this, as other's have posted, this is truly a MASTERPIECE!
Amazing! I hope A7X makes a music video for this song at some point. I can end up being a masterpiece.
I personally think it's more likely to be a lyric video. But since it hasn't come out yet, I don't know...
This song doesn't have enough lyrics to warrant a lyric video, it's mostly instrumental.
It has. But 80% of it is just instrumental. Even so, I don't think it's impossible to make a lyric video out of this. Especially with the song's concept. However, I think we would have already seen it if they were planning to make it.

If they actually did something like this just for the fans i would watch it every day
