  • Kristaps Porzingis has gone through a lot in his NBA career. He has gone from being a top 5 draft pick and All-Star to being labeled as a bust due to injuries. But after eight years of many ups and downs, it seems like Porzingis is finally in a situation where he can show his full potential and help a team win. The Boston Celtics were so close to winning the NBA championship in the past two seasons, and General Manager Brad Stevens knew that he needed to shake up the roster and increase the Celtics' chances of winning the NBA championship.
    Enter the unicorn that is Kristaps Porzingis.

    The craziest part of all this is that Boston is six deep with versatile players that can at the very least shoot the 3 ball well, most can get to the rim, and defend at a high level

    As a diehard celtics fan although i was really happy when we traded for him (More Bc I was Tired Of Marcus Smart) He's exceeded my expectations.. he's a better rim protector than i thought, and playing with the celtics is perfect for him being the 3rd sometimes 4th option he often is one on one with guys he has over 6 inches on.. and hes pretty quick off the dribble for a 7 foot 3 guy

    You can make a real case he's the best player on the celtics right now. C's defense revolves around him, he space the floor on offense, gets his ponts in the flow, and is effecient. Some advanced stats like BPM have him as best on the celtics. Obviously its a stretch tatums a better player but if porzingis desnt get injured they will win it all this year

    Great content, I think he’s actually a year or two from hitting his peak. I know age wise it seems odd but I think he’s a guy you can run your offense through, his ability to see over the defense, pass, and post up makes it dangerous

    • @ZoomZoom356
      @ZoomZoom356 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well he's 28 years old, I would say he's probably reached his peak at this point, but if this is peak Porzingis, I'm very happy. It's amazing how much better he's gotten at using his height, back in his Knicks and Mavs days, he just wasn't able to consistently take advantage of mismatches, he would often settle for low percentage long 2 point shots, but this matured version of Porzingis is an absolute load in the post, he's so good at punishing smaller defenders, he's taking more shots at the basket than he ever has in his career and his efficiency is off the charts.

    Jason Kidd is just one of the worst coaches ever, some of accomplishments include: not making the playoffs with Giannis, 1st round exit with Giannis, doing nothing with Jalen Brunson and Porzingis, not making playoffs with Luka and Kyrie, dude is a joke.

    • @arjunadan3812
      @arjunadan3812 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It was not his fault for Brunson, it was Cuban's. And KP was too injured on Mavs and fight with Luka's rookie ego, etc. But true, Kidd is not a great coach, though he took the Mavs to the WFC in 2022 and won the championship with the Lakers as an assistant coach in 2020!
