This looks great and easy but are magnets strong enough when u roll over? I use magnets on my rc drift cars but they are not strong enough to keep the body in place when I hit something.

i used araldite in that build,,, i think e6000 will work too- but they wont last forever the magnets are tool strong they will come out leaving a nice mold- i would suggest use duct tape on top of ot for additional strength- my power wagon magnets are still intact after using duct tape
it will be white, im using epoxy, if it bothers you, you can use black tape to hide and add strength- depends on the glue/epoxy the rare magnets may come out since they too strong
Excellent video! Thank you!
Excellent bit of lateral thinking! Super job! Thank you.

This looks great and easy but are magnets strong enough when u roll over?
I use magnets on my rc drift cars but they are not strong enough to keep the body in place when I hit something.
not everytime it holds.. i can say its a sacrifice for better look plus accessibility..

if i remember correctly i used araldite glue let it settle for 24hours
@@freshstonerc thanks

Thank you I am going to do the same thing with a dodge power wagon body (proline) on a enduro trailwalker
just a little update- use ductape to protect the body magnet, since with the magnet too strong it is coming off after sometime
great video man 👍👍👍

these are better- i used it in my trx6- they will be harder to allign though
Can i use e 6000 to glue my magnets to the body ???
i used araldite in that build,,, i think e6000 will work too- but they wont last forever the magnets are tool strong they will come out leaving a nice mold- i would suggest use duct tape on top of ot for additional strength- my power wagon magnets are still intact after using duct tape
So use duct tape instead of the glue ??
after the glue and magnet hardens..until it is good to go..i put duct tape on top for additional strength so that the magnet will not come off easily
Olay cool thanks again for helping me 👍👍
The gule is black when it is dry ?
it will be white, im using epoxy, if it bothers you, you can use black tape to hide and add strength- depends on the glue/epoxy the rare magnets may come out since they too strong
subscrived!
Thanks
