Margot was actually able to do the screen of her foot unlocking the lock. Even the director was amazed, she actually, plucked it with her toes, turned upside down and then unlocked it with her foot alone.
And everyone was gutted that the shot didn't show it was actually Margot because the sleeve ruffle on her dress covered her face.
It's a funny, action-packed film, yes... but it's also very sad. Starro's line "I was happy, floating, staring at the stars" gets me :'(
But the asshole was still like "this city is miiine!"

Tbh i didn.t find it sad we know nothing about him or his backstory so i didn.t cry for that line just bc a villian has one sad line doesn.t make up for it plus any villian that needs to have someone else talk for them bc they can.t/are unable is kinda lame and yeah you can make an case for the fact that he was experimented on but how did he get to earth in in the first place bc i don.t think a rocket or shuttle can hold him so how did he get to earth was it on accident like superman also the guy just destroy half a city and then he wants empathy by saying a stuipd line about floating and looking at stars tbh i think he could have just walked away freely but no he had to destroy a city first

The fact that this Star literally didn’t mean any harm. He was just chilling and got captured. People automatically thought he was a monster and tortured the poor guy :(((

It's a tie between Polka Dot Man and Nanaue for me. Best scene was when they realized that they just killed all of the resistance fighters. "I turned them into my mother in my head and killed them." Most underrated joke - "Do you want a dozen angry rodents crawling up your ass?" "My answer might not be what you expect!"

Great movie compared to the first one a few years back glad they kept Harley as she was the one shining light from that. Love the scene where bloodsport drops down and takes out peacemaker
No, horrible movie. First one was much better. I can't get over the fact they used a FUCKING Starfish. John Cena over there talking about "licking dicks on a beach." It's stupid. Even the opening with the guy who's hands were able to float and hold the military guys helmet. An alligator eating someone's head. It's pure stupidity.

Yesss I love this movie. You definitely need to watch Birds of Prey (whether that’s on the channel or on your own time is completely up to you) to understand Harley’s character growth in this movie. She went from being the property of the Joker to being her own person and finally learning to grow beyond the people in her life who only ever treated her like an object. Great reaction!!
is the birds of prey movie set before or after this movie do you know?
@@aliciaa4859 I’m pretty sure that BOP is set before the Suicide Squad, but nothing has really ever confirmed that theory. The only thing we really have to go off of is the films release dates because The Suicide Squad doesn’t really acknowledge BOP or anything relating to that film beyond the fact that Joker and Harley aren’t together anymore.
BOP happens between the two. Harley was trying to go straightish but things snowballed a d she was rejailed prior to this. Its glossed over in athrow away line about her having a fit of road rage.
Direct sequel to this with tne Peacemaker tv series.
my fav character is harley although flag had my heart, rip hottie 😔 and my favorite scene was her men slaughter one and that emotional scene from ratcatcher and her dad when he explained "why rats?"
I just loved the character development in this film. I actually cared about every character and their motivations.

I think Birds of Prey is a bit under appreciated if you have any interest! You get to see Ewan McGregor be an eccentric psycho
Harley will always be amazing. Ratcatcher2 was oddly the heart of the film. Loved it!

No it's not. It's stupid. I don't like it. The final villain is a starfish, John Cena talks about licking dicks on a beach, the alligator eats some guys head and starts chewing it and the very beginning had a guy who used his arms to pull down some soldiers helmet. It's not a good movie. Man of Steel, Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Aquaman, Shazam, The Joker (a movie I also don't like), Birds of Prey (not a huge fan) and Wonder Woman 1984 (again not a huge fan) are all better than this movie. I don't like it at all.

@@chadbrisco4042 the starfish is the villain that brought the justice league together originally in the comics. It’s a pretty big deal for fans of the comics or anyone who knows the basic background of the origin of the justice league of America.

My favourite was definitely scene was the rebel camp scene cus it just reminds me of an assassin's creed scenario only with comedy, homicidal creativity and the one thing many people in that game don't have... Personality
I can't decide between Bloodsport and Kingshark, King because he's adorable at times and terrifying at others and Bloodsport because he is what we would call a relatable character.
Ratcatcher II hugging Bloodsport when he goes fetal as the rats appear is such a sweet little moment.
I loved the scene where king shark ripped the guy open in the rain and also my favourite character is between rat catcher and polka dot man
Weasels can convincingly play dead for quite a long amount of time. You should watch the Peacemaker TV series. It elevates the character fantastically.

I watched it a few days ago & maybe I just wasn’t in the mood, but I didn’t like it that much. However, now that I’ve had a few days to mull it over & seen some reactions, I have to say it’s definitely grown on me.

Think you should rewatch this now that you've seen the first one and you can pick up some some subtle digs at the first one especially between some of the returning cast :D
The scene where Harley dives into the eye, I feel like King Shark should have been with her too. he's all about eating and water is his domain, get him and the rats in there.
Gunn cast Vin Diesel to voice Groot, so Stalone makes sense lol

Seb, you should watch the show Peacemaker. It’s basically the aftermath of this movie and we are getting some awesome characters in it too, highly recommend and it’s also directed by James Gunn;)

Personally and I know my opinion don't matter really, but I can't stand Peacemaker. Rick Flag was way better person and character. His death was just all sorts of wrong. But again...that's just me.
Starro lived in space but enthralled entire populations of planets during it's journeys. It wasn't a simple life form just existing and watching stars. Do you ever wonder how it fed? I can just imagine.
I enjoyed both films no matter what but this hit way to hard for me lmao bc I get way to attach to the characters and I was so upset abt Rick Flag died like why do him like that ugh imma miss that character and I wanted him and Harley to be together they had a Moment too but oh well still imma miss him his character gotta remind myself character is dead not actor

I don't think this is the best DC film, but it's definettly one of the funniest, and something that adds to the quallity it's that they keep all that PG-13 bullshit to themselves......I can understand PG-13 in Batman, but in the Suicide Squad?....

No it's not an improvement. I didn't like The Joker, Birds of Prey or Wonder Woman 1984 but this movie was an all time low for DC. I did not like it.
