It doesn't because as you get better you are trying more difficult mechanics and you are trying to do them faster too. If you want to see how much you've actually improved play against a player at a rank you used to be and it'll be very clear

exactly, it's so weird to be able to land dribble goals and still whiff open nets so often
@daniielkoziina a noob couldn't dribble with pure luck, because they wouldn't even know what they were doing, you could put the luckiest man in a game of rocket league, and if they've never played the game before, they wouldn't land things like dribbles or double touches. it may be luck that the ball is in the right place for the silver to make use of the chance, but the rest is skill.
@@vladimirputin3426 no, it really is luck because of what you said lol. They are L U C K Y the ball lands where they need to. A gold thats training that move would indeed be like you said, they have a bit of skill but a silver still has a long way to learn (atleast in my experience its like that)

@@FDALl-ms5kg my point still stands, apart from the ball landing in the right place, the player still has to hit it into the goal, I was a silver myself when I posted that comment, and i can tell you that the difference between silver and gold isn't that big, especially silver 3 - gold 1. gold usually showcases more mechanics and tricks, silvers usually have some idea of positioning, but can't execute the shots they need to.

Don't get me wrong, I like both of them, but sunless video quality, just the sheer amount of thought that he puts into one single video is like 10 times the amount of musty. Musty has a lot of ongoing series and in contrast to that sunless tries to make every video special and unique. For the best viewing experience just watch them both is my recommendation.

Each team gets around a week to train together with sunless and another rl TH-cam being each teams coach. This could also work as a tournament with a handful of rl TH-cams getting 3 people form their community and training them together, with the winner reviving a reward. Idk what other people would think but I think it’s a good idea

@@TreysLetterbomb Huh no they aren't. I do watch my replays everyday and everyone is hitting high airials 8 times out of 10 and scoring power shot goals. Maybe on NA servers they suck, but on EU we have French players. And I already speedflip and half flip in both directions every game.
Extra context: I'm silver in solo standard, but platinum 2 in party enabled standard with my other Platinum friends.

When I was training at that level, I basically just did private matches with an All-Star bot until I was able to beat it in a regular match. Then I upped the number of bots until I couldn’t anymore. It got me into Gold 3 which was cool, but not like overwhelming. I started that training at Bronze 2 and would recommend it for anyone willing to try it out.
Edit: Currently, I’m not awesome at the game, but Platinum 3 isn’t bad 😉

also, although there are people saying they'd like to continue this series with them i would prefer if they started with new people a rank above. Instead of coaching silvers they coach golds next time.
The packs help him long term but yeah 1 vs 1 is a different game. At silver with bad mechanics, you can pretty much just play smart, watch your opponent whiff balls and go for open nets
@@babyfreezer but the thing is he was able to go for different angles and aerial shots because of those high level packs, so they helped his gameplay even in the short term. i think thats where he had the big advantage.
@@babyfreezer not gonna lie man, i was silver 3 in 1s for a while i mean granted i hardly played it though and i was diamond 3 in dropshot. I kinda just kept deranking myself cause i wasnt interested in ones but if i noticed anything, its that you have to adapt to the speed of the opponents. If they play slow, play fast, if they play fast, play your normal speed until they whiff. Also i once got beat cause i would try to go for dribbles and would get demoed and rammed in the ass every five seconds so do that i guess lol.

@@tristanrainey5080 yeah ok then that is because maybe you get carried or because you are better at game sense and team play than mechanics. me silver in everything, I have about 300-330 hrs and am silver 1 in 1s, but those guys are bad compared to what I play (not being cocky, just saying it) probably because 1s is less of game sense and more mechanics, so I'd say I would probably not count as silver then for 2s or whatever those guys are silver for. They're probably bronze In 1s is what I'm saying
