    Nice upgrade! Way to overcome that problem with the bracket🏁 Wilwood sells a relocate bracket that moves the lines and PV to the other side. All black looks clean!!!🤩🤩

    Just a thought on that bracket that you cut and
    Modified, you could have used 3D modeling and had Send -cut-Send make a new one so you would still have two mounting holes to be more rigid 🤔

      Ohhh hell yes John. I'll add that to the list. I just didn't have the time to do that at this point... thanks for the video idea!

    Hey Mike. When you bled the hydroboost. Was the pedal soft until you ran the car? I’ve bled mine 2 times and getting fluid out all calipers. Still feels soft while engine off. Just curious if the hydroboost pressure helps stiffen the pedal once engine runs.

      Good question... I had the same issue BECAUSE the power steering reservoir was too small. I was using the March Performance reservoir, and when the power steering fluid would re-enter the reservoir, it would do so at a pretty high force... and it's aerated. That aerated mixture would get sucked back into the intake of the pump. So, I could never bleed it. What worked for me was a much larger reservoir from PSC. It's large and has a filter built in, which strains out the air bubbles. As soon as I started using that, it self bled, and worked within two turns of the wheel. Hope that helps with your issue... keep us posted as to what ends up working for you. Good luck!

    Hi mike nice video
    What is the master cylinder bore size and why.Hydroboost changes things ? Some say smaller is tooo much pressure. Can you share your knowledge
    Craig

      @FastMonty  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Craig, good question(s) as usual. Bore Size is 1.1in. The smaller the bore, the harder it is to push. But, it's also a pedal ratio thing... the smaller bore has to push more fluid for the same amount of travel, versus a large bore, if that makes sense? It has a lot to do with the front caliper piston bore size too. Since mine are HUGE, I need the biggest MC bore I can get. (It was also recommend by @Wilwooddiscbrakes special thanks to their team for guiding me)
      Hyrdoboost, different subject. It's just a different way of providing boost instead of relying on engine vacuum for a traditional booster. Second to that, it retains about 3 to 4 seconds of boost after the engine dies. Which has come in handy a few times for me. :)
      The last subject is Manual vs. Boosted. This is a matter of opinion, most race guys prefer manual for "feel". Some prefer boosted. I don't think there's a wrong answer on that, just preference.
      Thanks as always!

    Where did you get the billet mounting plate to the firewall?

    • @FastMonty
      @FastMonty  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That came with my HyrdoBoost system. Of course, I don't remember where I got that. I learned that their are different hydroboost brackets on the market, make sure you buy the kit designed for your car. Good luck!
