Here is my dilemma, most companies or most industries would require relevant industry experiences plus MBA so if you don't have any relevant industry experience, you won't be qualified. I feel like switching from a very different industry after MBA is so hard. I came from a mall management background prior to MBA. This background is more related to property management and real estate which I already want to avoid. I am interested in consumer goods industry yet my previous work experience is not that related because mall management is more of services vs consumers goods which is more of tangible products. My only shot is to be part of an MBA Management Development Program from companies who doesn't require consumer goods background yet this type of role is very rare and limited.

It was a very insightful video like all others, I have a doubt while discussing with a friend we got conflicted and couldn't get to know whether we can apply to top B schools after gaining a minimum of 2 years of work experience after engineering or not.
You can apply with 2 years experience, but you'll be at a disadvantage while competing with other applicants who'd be coming in with an average of 4 years. A better idea would be to wait and build your profile first to improve your odds of getting in.
Thank you very much sir !! It gave so much information !! But I have questions !! Is it possible to do MBA degree during Mtech /MS while reading in abroad ?? For that which exam should be taken ??
I have a couple of queries, and I would really appreciate if you can address them individually:- i) Can you please tell me about the MIS/MBA dual degree? How is that going to impact my career? ii) What are the best universities in the US that offer this degree? iii) If I'm going to appear for GRE, could Dec be the month?
1. We're not big fans of dual-degrees. Best to get one that suits your career plans. It's rare that you'll be a good fit for both, since the entry requirements for MS and MBA programs are quite different. 2. Since we don't recommend that option, we haven't collated a list. 3. You'll be cutting it too tight by delaying your test date to Dec. Keep in mind that the rest of the application is also time consuming, so don't end up doing a rush job with other components (essays/SoP, recos, interviews) that can make or break your application
Start with this article and then check the official university sites for more details on the specific application requirements. www.mbacrystalball.com/medical-schools/

Hi, thanks for the information. I have one query here. You’ve mentioned in your video that GMAT can be taken n number of times but as I recall GMAT comes with a limit of only 8 attempts in your lifetime.
In the video (3:37) we mention multiple times (and not unlimited times). For GMAT, like you said there's a lifetime limit of 8. There's also an annual limit of 5. We should've mentioned this specifically in the video to avoid ambiguity. Thanks for pointing it out.

Hi Sameer, I have 20years experience in IT and am 43 years old. I couldn't pursue MBA earlier for various personal reasons. I am looking to pursue it now. How good these programs are for me and do you think they can help me move up in my career? You response is highly appreciated. Thank you!
You may have realised already from your research that it's not common for full-time MBA programs to get students who are over 40. They tend to push such applicants to their EMBA options, but those aren't as effective for career changers (if that's what you're looking for). We do help several senior professionals get into programs such as PGPPro and PGPMAX . However, they are clear about what they will or will not get from their investment. We'd recommend that you thoroughly research them like they did, before taking a call.

I have 53% marks in Intermediate and 53% marks in Bachelor of commerce. I want to go to the USA on a scholarship. Can I get Admission with 50% marks? Also, I am going to prepare for IELTS, Toefl, GRE, and GMAT. ?
Depends on what league of programs you target. The low ranking and unranked ones would be more open to be more flexible with low grades and offer scholarships to attract students.

@@MBACrystalBall I just wanted to keep business school options open for myself. There are some good schools for MBA such as ESADE and IESE. Therefore, I want to know more about future prospects in Spain post MBA.
It's always risky to graduate in a country where you don't speak the local language. And the value of the degree diminishes in other countries where the brand isn't as well-known. Talk to current students of your target schools to find out how Corona has impacted their post MBA plans. You'll be in a better position to take the call.

Hi Is it okay if i give GRE in 2024 if i wanna go to the USA for m masters in fall 2027?I know the score is valid for 5 years but will it have any impact in admission if the score is 3 or 4 yrs old?
As long as it is valid, most universities will accept it. But to be on the safe side, check the FAQ section of your target programs to see if they have any specific requirements.
You mentioned that most B-schools accept GRE scores though only average GMAT score information is available. Do all B-schools accept GRE scores and can one go for GRE instead of a GMAT ?
Yes, most top bschools have started accepting GRE scores. Make sure you visit the official websites of your target schools to confirm that they do, before taking the decision.
Can anybody tell me which MS program i should apply for in US...my graduation is in electrical engineering (2019) (61%)...MBA(2022)(7.92 current)...10th (86.7)...12th(85.4)...my marks in GRE mock is 309...

Lower ranked and unranked programs may allow it, but all good programs insist on the GRE score too. With the COVID scenario, things might change. So keep an eye on the official websites.
The concepts covered in GMAT/GRE are high school level. The complexity comes from the application of those concepts, and the speed with which you tackle the questions during the test. So go head and take a few mocks to see how you fare.
The best way to find out the requirements for any specific program is to visit their official page. They'll mention what's mandatory and what's optional.

I am working in government organization as a scientist for more than 14yrs. I am really bored with my work. I want to do mba in abroad. in leadership and entrepreneurship program. Is it ok to do mba at this stage of life. If you give some suggestions, I would be grateful.
It becomes increasingly tougher to squeeze out value from an MBA the higher you are on the career graph. As a scientist if your work has been predominantly technical in nature, that might be another hurdle that an MBA may not be able to overcome. So tread with caution.
Hi sir! My query regarding MBA is work experience, so if a person has a experience in two companies but not proper, I mean to say if someone has worked only 8 months in one company and 11 months in second company, so Whether it counts as a experience or not. Will B school accept such type of experience? Please sir assist me on this, I just want how to say right ans in an MBA interview.
Yes, the experience will count, if it has been full-time employment. But you'll have to explain the reason for frequent job switching at such short intervals, since it can raise red flags about your focus and commitment.
Sir, I was told that work experience is calculated on the basis of job started after completing bachelor's. Is it true? Because I am in final year but already have a 2year experience.

This is the first time I scored 6.0 in writing, e.g. in 2011, when I gave IELTS, I scored 7.0 in writing (although those scores are not valid now). My question is: do I need to give IELTS again? I am looking forward to apply for MBA program in few of the top 20 US business school or top schools in Canada. As info. (my undergraduate degree is from India). I will be highly obliged by your early reply, so that if need aries, I still have some time to book next IELTS exam in December. Still few seats are left. Thanks and regards Braj Dham
We haven't seen IELTS being the reason for rejection for folks who've worked with us over the years, and not all of them had top scores. Having said that, if it really bothers you, the best way to address it is by reaching out to your target schools and asking them upfront. Also, make sure you share reasons why the score isn't reflective of your actual English proficiency. If/when they give you the green signal, you can focus on the rest of the application.

I currently have a gre score of 323. Reaching out for an advise if I should re-attempt the test to stand a better chance? Also, if I have to re-attempt, I'll be applying for 2022 intake. I will henceforth be having close to 3 years experience. Is 3 years experience too much for an mim? Is it advisable to go for an MBA instead with 3 years of experience? Also, do I need a IELTS score for applying for mim or mba at lbs?
The second question is more important, so we'll take it up first. You're right that it'll be a little late for MiM programs, given your experience. Go for a good MBA program which with give you better mileage. If you think you can get the score higher, definitely give it a try. When you're aiming for programs such as LBS, every little bit counts as you try to strengthen your profile, and odds. Yes, you'll need IELTS too. Unless you get a waiver from your target programs.
Ive scored 42.2 percent in graduation can I still sit for the GMAT exams? And is there any college who oversees the graduation score and looks for the exam merit instead? What I am trying to ask is can I give the exam with this percentage?
Taking the GMAT won't be an issue. They don't care about graduation marks. But the league of programs you apply to may or may not consider the grades, depending on how well ranked they are.

I have a couple of queries, and I would really appreciate if you can address them individually:-
i) Can you please tell me about the MIS/MBA dual degree?
It is necessary to give ielts or toefl for doing mbbs in USA
Start with this article and then check the official university sites for more details on the specific application requirements.

In the video (3:37) we mention multiple times (and not unlimited times). For GMAT, like you said there's a lifetime limit of 8. There's also an annual limit of 5. We should've mentioned this specifically in the video to avoid ambiguity. Thanks for pointing it out.

Can we get admission by only taking TOEFL exam?
Lower ranked and unranked programs may allow it, but all good programs insist on the GRE score too. With the COVID scenario, things might change. So keep an eye on the official websites.
Can I write only IELTS exam and go to USA
Low ranking univs may accept it. The good ones will expect GMAT/GRE too.

Most international management programs (including MBA, EMBA) expect the general test, not academic.
What if we haven't taken maths in our 11th-12th.
The concepts covered in GMAT/GRE are high school level. The complexity comes from the application of those concepts, and the speed with which you tackle the questions during the test. So go head and take a few mocks to see how you fare.

Securing a job abroad, specially with zero experience, is very tough. If your family is relying on you for income, it wouldn't be a good decision to take such a big risk. Better to work for a few year, save some money and then reconsider your plans for higher education.
We do helping for the exam and the process to go abroad
Is australia good place to do bba?
We don't focus on undergrad programs, so we won't be the right team to answer that question.

Hello sir!!
Can you help me out with the MBA in london for international students..1-should we join in universities or it's okay to be in normal colleges.
2‐should I work in industries or can I show certificates of my own business.
I would be so grateful if you clear me out.
Thank you.
1. Depends a lot on the credibility and reputation, rather than whether it's a university or college. For instance, LBS is a bschool, not a university. But very highly ranked in the Top 100 Global MBA rankings.
2. Here's the type of experience that MBA programs prefer: www.mbacrystalball.com/blog/2017/06/28/what-type-work-experience-required-mba-abroad/
Thanks alot sir..!!
Sir kindly tell which exam to be given to avail scholarship for phd English in uk or Norway .I will be highly thankful to you
The specialisation you're applying for would influence that. Best to check directly on the official websites of the target programs you have in mind.
Hello Sameer, I reached out to you almost a year back when my GMAT score was valid. It’s no more valid and I will have to appear again.
Can I pls ask you, if I’ve to target institutions with lower Tuition fees and higher RoI, which one should I target. Could you pls help me name few which I can keep in mind and target.
As a general rule, if you aim for programs where your profile is better than the average student/applicant, you have a better chance of getting a scholarship. Here are a few affordable options within the reputed list: www.mbacrystalball.com/blog/2016/01/11/top-mba-colleges-with-low-fees/
@@MBACrystalBall That's a good info. What can be bigger parameters on which a scholarship is given ?
Scores, experience, school choice, and most importantly how you present your story. We have a separate video on MBA scholarships on our channel. Check that out for some ideas.
