#Akshat How do you make sure… there’s minimum overlap between your mf and individual stocks… especially when a few of those excellent stocks are trading at high discounts…
1% commission is on the amount of SIP and not on the returns. Just by changing the whole return (which affects the profits as well) gives an incorrect answer. To get a more accurate change what you need to compare is an sip and an sip-1% for the same return and same duration.
Hi akshat. Request you to also have a session for recorded+live course as I feel it would be more beneficial to go through the material and do some research before coming for the live course... We can learn more that way
*FYI This is not zero comission, it's low comission like 0.3% in index funds* *2nd U r not making a new Mutual fund, U r investing in ready made index funds*
While we acknowledge the effort put into this video, it is clear the primary objective is to promote your course. Let’s address the factual inaccuracies : - Several funds have consistently outperformed the index over various time periods - why don't we pick them as example? - The returns presented by mutual funds are net of the Total Expense Ratio (TER). - Quant funds have faced recent underperformance, but the time range you’ve chosen is selective. Why not highlight other funds that have done better? Also, why dismiss a 30%+ CAGR as insignificant? - Do you have data or evidence showing that direct stock investors consistently outperform mutual fund investors? - The expense ratio paid by retail investors is far lower than the cost of your course. - What is the minimum alpha you guarantee after completing your course and creating a portfolio? - You seem to always be worried about tax loot but why wasn't it mentioned in this video about stock CGT when you have to sell and buy yourself, which is taken care automatically with no tax on MF route.
Yov meesa nee enga ya Inga 😂 Super thala . Your point is right.many youtubers are saying mutual funds are a waste . I get their point however including mutual funds makes my portfolio look more diversified and less riskier than with only stocks. Of course you have to select the correct mutual fund this logic applies to stock also
Boosan bro, everything is business as you know always.. you do the same to recommend to join your community in your channel.. so nothing to pointing him out that he sells course🤷♂️ avalotan
I will happily give that 1% to fund manager as I don't understand technical analysis or when to buy n sell . Instead of playing around with money myself, i would rather trust someone with the knowledge of what he is doing.
It is like saying, I will not play with my health by cooking my food. I would rather pay for a nutritionist. It is an individual choice, nothing right or wrong about it.
The problem with such fund managers is that they end up advising the funds that make most commission for themselves, forgetting the rational of customer coming to them for their knowledge.
This guy is full time into stock market. He is having sufficient amount so that he can take risk also. Please don't follow him blindly. Use your own consciousness and invest in mutual funds with discipline. Don't get distracted.
nvest judiciously, keep a stop loss figure. Shuffle between debt and equity wherever the ratio goes too off your target. As for the target, I recommend a Ratio like this Debt % should be equal to your age in years. If you are 20, debt is 20%, reset in equity. If the market falls or rises drastically, your debt % will change, which you should rebalance to 20% and bring back equity to 80%. Thus you would have bought low or booked profit depending on if it was a crash or a bull run.
Find stocks with market-beating yields and shares that at least keep pace with the market for a long term. Individuals can seek counsel from a certified financial advisor to optimize financial outcomes, who can provide specialized advice and methods to decrease expenses and maximize income
This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.
Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Eleanor Bonnici Deskin’’ for about two years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

By opting not to pay commissions to mutual fund companies, one might initially save a considerable amount of money. However, investing in a course costing ₹17,000 could be seen as a significant trade-off. If instead, that amount were invested in a high-return asset, say, with a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13%, it could potentially grow to ₹22.57 lakhs over a 40-year horizon. Furthermore, it's worth noting that the knowledge shared in these courses is often available for free on platforms like TH-cam, raising the question of whether this paid investment provides sufficient additional value.

Akshat, could you find some ways to moderate your comments section? A lot of random scammers are posting things in the comments and it becomes difficult to go through some good discussions.
Momentum funds have given great returns even over long duration of 10 years (one can check rolling returns on backtested data). I’m talking about index funds such as Nifty midcap 150 momentum 50 fund, shouldn’t one consider momentum fund for some part of their allocation?
Bro he chooses those that are convenient to him, also i dont think his portfolio is outperforming quant , which he has got 35+% XIRR, also this guy has said he has got 20% cagr in a moderate risk portfolio, most investors want money as fast as possible, momentum 150 midcap will make the most money in long term, and blow past 25% CAGR yoy consistently. People need to have a very huge amount of money like him already invested (he has 20 Crore and showing a increase of 7 Crore), i have invested only 20 lakh but ive got 80 lakh right now, its still a very small amount, you need a super huge base like him to sit comfortably and make pointless videos like this and enjoy selling courses.
1. Does the video transcript answer the question posed by the title? Yes. The transcript explains how the creator built a mutual fund portfolio with 27 crore (27Cr) and pays 0% commissions by managing it himself. It details the strategy of using a mix of direct stocks and mutual funds, focusing on minimizing commissions, which directly answers the question in the title. 2. Key highlights: - Zero Commissions: The speaker mentions that he pays zero commissions by creating and managing the portfolio himself, consisting of direct stocks and mutual funds. *Example:* "I pay zero commissions on this portfolio... because I have created this portfolio myself and I manage it." - Mathematics of Commissions: The video discusses the impact of a 1% commission on long-term returns, emphasizing the importance of minimizing these fees. *Example:* "You end up making only 21 something CR and there's a difference of 37% roughly 37% of your portfolio gets wiped out with 1% commission." - Index Funds and ETFs: The speaker advises investing in index funds or ETFs, such as Nifty 50, which have the lowest possible commissions. *Example:* "You can buy something called as Nifty bees now that is an ETF or you can buy a nifty50 mutual fund both are fine why because the commissions are very very low." - Comparison with Mutual Funds: The transcript explains that many actively managed mutual funds do not outperform benchmarks, supporting the idea of low-cost index investing. *Example:* "It categorically proves that 85% of actively managed mutual funds do not beat The Benchmark." - Technical Analysis Basics: The speaker suggests learning basic technical analysis to manage one's portfolio effectively without relying on high-cost mutual funds. *Example:* "Understanding these basic technicals it's not as if that you need to spend like 10 hours a day learning about it and all that stuff." - Direct Stock Selection: The video provides a basic method to screen and select Blue Chip stocks for inclusion in a self-managed portfolio. *Example:* "You go on this option called as create screen and then you write market cap... Roc return on Capital employed... debt to equity." - Segmental ETFs: The speaker mentions using sectoral ETFs like IT and Bank Bees to diversify portfolios with low commissions. *Example:* "You can buy segmental or sectoral ETFs... for example itbs... Bank bees." - Avoiding Active Funds: The advice is to avoid actively managed funds due to higher expense ratios, which reduce returns. *Example:* "The total expense ratio of these type of funds will be fairly high now if the expense ratio is high so now automatically your returns are going to come down." - Learning and Education: The transcript emphasizes the importance of educating oneself about investing basics to manage portfolios effectively. *Example:* "Learn the basics if you understand the basics there's a very good probability that you will at least start with the process of managing your own portfolio." - Building Your Own Fund: The combination of direct stock picking and low-cost index funds is presented as a way to build a personal mutual fund with minimal commissions. *Example:* "Combination of a plus b then you will be able to create your own mutual fund right where you are paying how much commission right as least as possible." 3. Insights: - Logical Flow: The transcript follows a logical sequence, starting with the problem of high commissions, explaining alternatives, and offering practical steps to build a self-managed portfolio. - Unexpected Findings: The detailed emphasis on technical analysis and the potential for individual investors to manage portfolios effectively with minimal resources was a significant focus, contrary to the conventional reliance on professional fund managers. - Educational Component: There is a notable educational angle as the speaker promotes a course on stock market basics, suggesting a focus on empowering individuals to manage their investments.

Parag Parikh has given a return of 19% CAGR over 19 years. I am fine giving 1% to the fund manager for the hard work that they are putting in. They are beating index fund over long term for sure.

Hi Akshat, One request- Can you suggest good books for technical analysis of stocks? I am a beginner in technical analysis. PS : i really enjoy your analysis on stocks.
Do you recommend using Free small cases that combine safer stocks and ETFs ? Which does not charge commission but manage the buying and selling of stocks on our behalf.

Dear akshat ji ...you are finance graduate. Some are doctors, nurses, scientist etc. So it's completely alright with investing through a mutual fund. Atleast other professionals don't make error and loose money by self investing. Warren Buffett ji also said not to loose capital. Let's recall that rule
Akshat, How can I invest in Nifty 250 small cap index fund directly? Do I do thru an AMC like HDFC/Nippon/ICICIPru or is there anyway to invest directly with 0% commission?
The only person who cares for poor people like us....thank you Akshat Bhaiyya... You are the role model for many people like us who are clueless in life and don't know what to do with all the wealth that we have...
There are many other good genuine financial content creators also You can even watch the interviews of peter lynch, Ramdeo Agarwal and there are TH-cam channels like invest mindset, Rahul Jain, Shankar Nath etc
Thanks for sharing right path for investing. Could you please make a video on momentum index funds for long term ?as per historical data these funds have generated alpha
Ok in short what you are suggesting is to buy the passive funds like Index funds and then become the fund manager by learning technicals and then do buy/sell and change this fund to an Active Fund ?? really?
!!! I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 385K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% annually in dividend returns. any good recommendation on great performing stocks or Crypto will be appreciated..

Pocketing XAI140E© with some swaps. XAI140E© will last guys
Hello me now-thanks⤴️👍

2. Key highlights:
- Zero Commissions: The speaker mentions that he pays zero commissions by creating and managing the portfolio himself, consisting of direct stocks and mutual funds.
*Example:* "I pay zero commissions on this portfolio... because I have created this portfolio myself and I manage it."
- Mathematics of Commissions: The video discusses the impact of a 1% commission on long-term returns, emphasizing the importance of minimizing these fees.
*Example:* "You end up making only 21 something CR and there's a difference of 37% roughly 37% of your portfolio gets wiped out with 1% commission."
- Index Funds and ETFs: The speaker advises investing in index funds or ETFs, such as Nifty 50, which have the lowest possible commissions.
*Example:* "You can buy something called as Nifty bees now that is an ETF or you can buy a nifty50 mutual fund both are fine why because the commissions are very very low."
- Comparison with Mutual Funds: The transcript explains that many actively managed mutual funds do not outperform benchmarks, supporting the idea of low-cost index investing.
*Example:* "It categorically proves that 85% of actively managed mutual funds do not beat The Benchmark."
- Technical Analysis Basics: The speaker suggests learning basic technical analysis to manage one's portfolio effectively without relying on high-cost mutual funds.
*Example:* "Understanding these basic technicals it's not as if that you need to spend like 10 hours a day learning about it and all that stuff."
- Direct Stock Selection: The video provides a basic method to screen and select Blue Chip stocks for inclusion in a self-managed portfolio.
*Example:* "You go on this option called as create screen and then you write market cap... Roc return on Capital employed... debt to equity."
- Segmental ETFs: The speaker mentions using sectoral ETFs like IT and Bank Bees to diversify portfolios with low commissions.
*Example:* "You can buy segmental or sectoral ETFs... for example itbs... Bank bees."
- Avoiding Active Funds: The advice is to avoid actively managed funds due to higher expense ratios, which reduce returns.
*Example:* "The total expense ratio of these type of funds will be fairly high now if the expense ratio is high so now automatically your returns are going to come down."
- Learning and Education: The transcript emphasizes the importance of educating oneself about investing basics to manage portfolios effectively.
*Example:* "Learn the basics if you understand the basics there's a very good probability that you will at least start with the process of managing your own portfolio."
- Building Your Own Fund: The combination of direct stock picking and low-cost index funds is presented as a way to build a personal mutual fund with minimal commissions.
*Example:* "Combination of a plus b then you will be able to create your own mutual fund right where you are paying how much commission right as least as possible."
3. Insights:
- Logical Flow: The transcript follows a logical sequence, starting with the problem of high commissions, explaining alternatives, and offering practical steps to build a self-managed portfolio.

The XAI140E© uses different AI which has not been used by anyone, it makes sense and it should allow steady growth with no human interference needed
Parag Parikh has given a return of 19% CAGR over 19 years. I am fine giving 1% to the fund manager for the hard work that they are putting in. They are beating index fund over long term for sure.
