- Vice President Kamala Harris heads to Mexico Tuesday after spending Monday in Guatemala, where she announced several initiatives and told potential migrants not to come to the U.S. She also sat down exclusively with NBC’s Lester Holt, saying, “we have to deal with what’s happening at the border” but “there’s not going to be a quick fix.”

The context is Biden is in Europe. Trump did not visit the border as president until August of 2017, more than half a year into his presidency. Pence did not visit until February 2018 as v.p., over a year after he became vp.

She is Vice President of the U.S. so she represents EVERYONE. But getting back to “her district” that you are referring to, like ALL other 50 States, they have received billions of dollars from several stimulus packages to help people with basic survival needs in each individual United State. It is up to the Governor and his or her administration in every State to make sure the funds are distributed appropriately. I suggest you address the Governor of California if you want to make sure funds are distributed to help the homeless in “her district”.
