Id like to add, if there are 2 people on cannon, one should focus on swabbing the other on BOTH aiming AND loading ammo. It increases the fire rate if you dont have a 3rd person passing on ammunition. While loading spam E as if your life depends on it (in Paris at least) and in Paris dont aim as much, just spam the shots as much as humanly possible
Actually such useful advice cuz me and another man operating a cannon kept scrambling with each other on who was loading, swabbing and firing eventually getting us killed. I’ll remember this for next time so I don’t throw the game
Eh there is no need to spam, the moment you see it says "Fired" thats when you press E. Trust me the difference in team between spsmming and not spamming is barely anything. Unless your team is getting pushed back there is no need to get that desesperated lol.
there isnt really a need cause after firing theres a short delay on when you can clean the barrel giving you enough time to take another canister shot. so theres no speed increase when the gunner also loads the canister. whats more important is for the person firing to fire as soon as possible to increase total firepower.

Most people ignore the cannon at the start of Leipzig, not sure if they just didn’t see it or they underestimate it (or don’t understand what its placement implies) I personally always wanna use the cannon

another note, a third, or sometimes second person is completly pointless. it will not increase the fire rate.
