how did you learn to hear notes and tell notes by ear? im trying to learn but it's so hard, some notes dont even sound like the notes when i play them on the piano but some do, any advice?🥺
Which notes in particular don't sound right? It's possible that I made some mistakes too. In any case, I would suggest just actively listening to and trying to identify notes as often as possible, like whenever you hear a song. It gets much better with practice.
@@butterdream oh not your notes sorry! i mean in general when i try to identify a note for example, an A5 will sound like the A5 note but when i hear someone singing a c4 in chest i cant attribute it to anything on the piano😭. but thanks i'll keep trying
@@loveb6940 no worries! I understand what you mean now. I find that singing the notes out loud often helps in this case, since this will allow you to build muscle memory with your vocal cords which can complement your familiarity with the notes (the frequencies) themselves. Good luck!
