First of all thank you for starting this series. Extremely needed. I have 2.5 yr old kid. She likes to hear stories instead of looking at mobile phone. we keep on encouraging her in this. Although its early for her but is there any book (may be comics) which may grow interest in her related to savings/investing.
I read capital returns few years back. It opened a new dimension of thinking in my investing. Learning from this helps me easily avoid something like Asian paints. Whether Birla succeeds or not in the long term, it will hurt asian paint at least in perception, but somewhat in business as well

hello I'm pharma graduate and currently pursuing pharma management I've been gone through understanding Michael porter I would say it brings analytical skills within me in right direction...I would say Michael porter is a genius in competitive strategy.... if u suggest another books regarding marketing it would be grateful 🙏🏻
Pretty visible by the charts of Asian Paints and Berger Paints, Now time to derate the PE multiple from 80 to 40, may be the stock can be underwater for more time.
What's your view on Grasim, how big impact can be made ? The Asian Paint is known for its very efficient supply chain management and efficient working capital cycle, how achievable is it for Grasim ?
Poojan, that is the wrong question to ask from my analysis. Easy answer : I don't know. Even Grasim doesn't know that ! Nobody knows. Asian Paints remains number one, remains efficient .... The period we enter from 2024 to 2028 will be a period of hyper competitiveness, turbulence and uncertainty: a new attacker and several defenders. A battlefield. Grasim will make an impact for sure. How big or small: I don't know. I will deal with some more questions in my next video
