Thanks for taking the extra time to put stuff out there in both languages. After 33 years of not using French it is a little rusty to say the least. Mind you, I was a litttle rusty with it 33 years ago! Keep up the interesting productions. The mix of your old, modern and engineering is excellent.

That Unique X55 bis, ticks all the boxes for me - blued steel and wood, tangent sight, good lines, French ... Both handguns are very awesome too!

(X51-bis) You forgot take-down and switchable between SA and single shot. At some point I’ll get the matching scope and silencer to go with.

Looks great. At least the bullet holes on the blackpowder pistol target didn’t require magnification to see at a distance. I like that benefit when shooting a large bore gun, especially as I have gotten older. Thanks for sharing with an English speaking geezer. 👍

This is just the kind of shooting I enjoy. My local sportsmen's club has a match every month for military long guns, iron sights only, 50 yd targets, offhand shooting only. each relay is 2 targets, 10 rds each, and there are 4 relays each match. They also have a handgun match each month that is 5 bowling pins on a table at 25 feet. Time starts at the horn and ends when the last pin hot the ground, or 30 seconds max. There are of course many other different matches as well, but these 2 are the ones I try to participate in as much as I can.

I'm curious about the loading method you used on the muzzle loader pistol. I've never seen anyone pound the ball against the powder so vigorously. Were you trying to flatten the ball so it would engage the rifling? Is that more effective or more historically correct for that pistol than using a patched ball?

Are you sure that isn't your 10th shot creasing the target on the left edge, visible at 9:57 into the video? It's perfect for elevation and the radius looks about right.

Swiss shooting clubs commonly combine a range and bar but not ranges and knocking shops to the best of my knowledge 😆 They are target storage cupboards for the various clubs that operate there.

I’m probably the only one doing it with FR guns 😆 Since there’s no time pressure I can have as many jams and malfs as I want (actually I had none across the board).

There is few restrictions to participate. It's just to have fun =). I did the 25m pistol with my springfield operator👍
