I like the way you mix skin tones, you simplify it to were I can say, AHHH HA! Being a amatuer I need to keep it simple, otherwise I can get frustrated. Thank you.
the biggest thing I would recommend is practice! It sounds silly but honestly practice your final piece as many times as possible before the real thing as then you'll encounter any problems before the real thing. I would also keep referring to your reference photo to try and match colours as closely as possible x
