Something about the attraction of being a physician to a narcissist...dated a doctor for a year. Lies 24/7. Even stupid stuff. Very odd.
On one hand I feel for her , it can happen and has happened to many many many wonderful , smart , successful women. She had no reason to doubt him. That is usually a good thing for most couples.
Not to doubt one another.
That said , she seems to be strong and resilient, and her daughter will be as well. As much as her heart was broken , it’s pretty clear she is very strong , and wins overall no matter what. I hope she finds the love of her life or he finds her and truly gives her all the love and adoration and affection she deserves ! And her daughter deserves.
She does not present this story as a victim but an overcomer and is sharing it with grace and dignity, being real and genuine about her own lapse in judgment and what steps she took to reclaim her life.
Impressive! And inspiring for other women and men who have been deceived this way to also be able to see an example of someone who went through this and overcame the heartache and rebuilt their life.
