The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In composing, in singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. During his concerts he always tells the audience he loves all people in every country. He visited so many different counties with his concerts and he realized that there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. The best lines for me in this exceptional video are, Pipers (Leaders) lead us to the slaughter long enoug, when the leaders are failing, we need to stop the trailing. I wish everybody in the world could watch this. Pope Francis awarded Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen with a commemorative medal on the Pope's visit to the seventh Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. he presented this video to them and made a speech. He puts his money where his mouth is. He is the most influential Muslim in the world today. At his concerts there are people from 40 to 60 countries all singing together, enjoying the concert together , that is amazing! people coming together in love all races united.
This mini movie is a true masterpiece from Dimash. He is a champion for peace. With his heart and soul, he create this music and project this message out to the world. We are all human and live under the same sky. We have only one world. It’s true, at his concerts, Dears (Dimash fans) from all over the world, all different religions, different backgrounds, different social status, different ages (young and old), and men and women all came together to celebrate and enjoy and even sing together with Dimash. We desperately need this type of message to spread throughout the world. We choose life and we need peace. ✌🏻

Одного не учёл ДИМАШ : в нынешней ситуации речи диктатора хотелось бы услышать на русском языке для полноты эффекта данного мини-фильма. In The Story Of One Sky he composed and sang the whole soundtrack himself.
The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In composing, in singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it.
He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay.
The premiere was on September 24, 2022.
As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. During his concerts he always tells the audience he loves all people in every country. He visited so many different counties with his concerts and he realized that there are no bad nations (only bad leaders).
And OMG he is such a phenomenal actor.
Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace.
In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Om", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches.

By the way Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. How wonderful is that🥰.
He also gave a speech at the first Central Asian Media Forum, in which he once again strongly advocated peace. You can see it with English subtitles.

(1) The two boys competed for the girl's attention;
(2) The character (who Dimash represents as an adult) created a symbol to confirm the friendship between the three, after being saved by his friend;
(3) Still in the video we see the girl choose "Dimash" and then they get married and have the little girl (who was killed) as a daughter and the mother is pregnant with another boy;
(4) The oldest boy (who saved "Dimash" from drowning) does not accept being abandoned by the girl and becomes a dictator president/general;
(5) Dimash becomes a soldier who decides to return from combat to protect his war refugee family;
(6) Dimash finds his daughter dead and thinks that his wife had also died, so he decides to take revenge on his friend;
(7) He kills the dictator and is killed regretting the violence he committed in life;
(8) Dimash's wife is well received by people of different religions who agree that Dimash's son is someone special;

Фильм снят по мотивам рассказа, написанного самим Димашем, по его сценарию.
О создании музыкального фильма на новую песню рассказывает режиссер Алина Верипя.
Клип делится на несколько частей. Первая из них - детство. Главный герой, его друг и подруга связаны детскими историями и символами вечной дружбы. Однажды друг спасает Главного героя, когда он тонет. Однако, в этой детской истории уже есть конкуренция, ведь мальчики влюблены в одну девочку, и она выбирает одного. Второй переживает некий психологический слом и переносит детские проблемы во взрослый мир тоталитарности и борьбы.
Став президентом, Антагонист несет идею спасительной войны:
Лишь война приведет нас к миру. Любовь в своем сердце могут найти лишь сильнейшие. Вы должны быть достаточно сильны, чтобы подарить миру свободу. Миру, где каждый город, каждый дом едины. Мы поведем всех, кто готов начать эту новую жизнь. Каждому, кто сопротивляется, не место рядом с нами. Я выбираю свободу. Мир открыт передо мной, и я хочу подарить его вам. Главный герой тоже говорит о единении, о мире, но через призму добра и любви.
В процессе боевых действий он растерян, он в шоке, но он должен спасти свою семью - беременную жену (ту самую девочку из детства) и дочку. Попав домой, он испытывает ужас от картины погибших людей и понимает, что его семья тоже погибла. Пережив эту драму, он движется к Антагонисту, чтобы отомстить.
Однако жена Главного героя выжила с помощью людей, знающих, что именно она должна родить особенного мальчика, способного спасти мир. Это люди разных национальностей и конфессий, которые объединились ради мира

The best lines for me in this exceptional video are, Pipers (Leaders) lead us to the slaughter long enoug, when the leaders are failing, we need to stop the trailing.

(1) Dimash composed the song and participated in the arrangement, in addition to acting in the mini-film. The lyrics of the song and Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and the video direction by Alina Veripya!
(2) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time);
(3) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the rats with his magic flute and drowning them in the Weser, the artist went to collect the amount owed (one coin per head) and was not paid (they alleged that he did not present the "heads" of the rats). The credits for this mini film is very long and is below the video itself. Dimash wrote the screenplay, composed the music, commissioned the lyrics and designed the vocals and music to be the soundtrack of this film. He is very passionate about peace and uses his art and platform to promote it as much as he can. He has a gigantic heart and is an artist that come around once in a thousand years (as an elder in the music industry in Kazakhstan said several years ago).
