Meddy always has an unfavorable schedule, playing most of the night sessions or very late night sessions in many tournaments, then the next important one is at an earlier time, messing up his rhythm. Daniil’s serve keeps letting him down over and over again this season. Instead of staying clutch in crucial moments and holding on the serve, he makes those double faults or can’t make a single first serve in, which is one of the main reasons the players can have a close battle with him. The numbers don’t lie too, his serve is far from his best compared to the rest of the quarterfinalists. He admitted he was struggling with something serve-wise, hope he figures it out one day. For a tall guy like him, he must be a much better server than he is for the last two years

An important win for Alcaraz, he ended the wait for his first title since Wimbledon. Must be satisfying for him too that he beat Sinner along the way, as Sinner had beaten him the last two times they played. So all in all Alcaraz seems well and truly back on track. It’s gonna be a great year for tennis!

They were all bad predictions for Alcaraz before the tournament started. Even people like A. Rodick o J.Connors saw no future in Alcaraz, favouring the new star, Sinner, with his late titles. Well, he proved them all wrong, and I am glad for him! Talent doesn't ever go away, just gets hidden for other mental reasons. He put it all in order and that's great news for tennis lovers.

This version of Alcaraz is the best. Attacking tennis from start to finish but little bit defensive to give some respect to Meddy’s approach to avoid unforced errors.!!! He improvised and learnt from his last outing with Meddy
