- Vionna's (@FelineJungle) interest in plants grew out of her architectural studies, but when she moved to her new apartment (with both southern and northern windows), she realized she could cater to more plants and balance the hobby with her stressful work outside of the home.

I had the same issue with my D. masoniana variegata. It’s desiccated after being without water during transport. I put mine in a humidity dome with bright light - still only watering when dry. It opened up beautifully after a few weeks. Once the moisture is replenished it can come out of the humidity. It seems to need a bit of extra help getting over the shock of dehydration. Hope that helps! 😀

@@FelineJungle I have used the same process for 6 other Sansevieria I ordered from overseas sellers and it worked on them all. Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t sit in water though 😅 My S. cleopatra was so dehydrated the leaves were closed up like a taco shell. My watering kept it alive but it wasn’t enough to replenish it until the “Sansevieria Spa” was opened 😝 You have a beautiful collection and your cats are gorgeous! I love the trio of artwork with cats and plants by your desk 💚

You should put your VSOH in direct sun light. I have mine on a south facing window sill and it’s thriving!!! There’s tons of new growth. I promise the leaves won’t burn

I have a red queen too! And it's HUGE! 😁 i actually had two earlier and i did an experiment with different setups but plants of same age and in the end the one in higher light, higher humidity and almost consistently moist medium grew nearly 2 times faster. 💚 and the leaf does change, the upper lobes get more and more prominent.

Yess I love Nelly’s!! They have an awesome variety of plants and at the front of the shop there’s this little section of rares. Not too sure about their Hoya selection though, but you can always call their shop and ask what they have in stock. They’re super nice!

I love this series! This is such a beautiful home, and I appreciate that she saved window space for her cats as I'm always adjusting for mine in the same way. If possible, I'd love to know where she got her plant wall/desk/pegboard.

I personally love plant tours! Most of this set up is from ikea. I have a video on my plant wall set up where I list everything. Hope it helps!

Tip-I buy or grow Cat Grass for my kittys and they leave my houseplants alone,they love it. Philo Pink Princess story- I bought one years ago when the hybrid was first introduced It was around 2012 I believe. I got it at a garden center, a two foot tall plant for $32.00!!! It grew so rangy and was not very pretty so I gave it away!

How do all her terracotta pots look so amazing? Mine have white blotches all over and the color has gone off unevenly everwhere.
Mine are like that too!! I love that the blotches give it character. I have a IG reel on how to clean terracotta pots if you’re interested in a new look! 🧡
