Whichever you decide to do is fine, but I’m voting for videos! :D
O'hare is a pretty cute smug. My guess was Marshall are your 1st camper. To only have 8 villagers, you may need to trick the game a bit? Amiibo in someone 2x then wait til someone leaves & amiibo in a 3rd time. Otherwise it may make you build a new plot! 👀 I think. Also, maybe Sylvana as your normal?? She's so cute 😍😭
Tip: before you replace o'hare make sure you get all the reactions that the smugs can give you otherwise you just won't have them I don't worry about DIY's since you can get the smugs DIY's from bottles but you can't get the reactions anywhere else so make sure you have them before you kick him off your Island
Bruh speaking of smug DIY recipes, I'm only missing one and it's the golden plate armor but Marshal won't give it to me and it's driving me so crazy 😫😭

I got five stars recently for the first time ever and rewarded myself with another switch! (coral switch lite), I'm so excited. Although I haven't gotten used to having both kinds yet so whenever I play on the lite it seems really small and when I play on my main switch it seems huge hahah but the lite is so cute and I love it. I love the coral

Sorry to disappoint you but if you're only going for 8 villagers, you wont be able to exchange your current ones with amiibos. If you invite a villager to the campsite, it wont give you the option to exchange someone, it'll just say "aaw, sorry there was no room on the island". And they will say it until you place one of your empty plots from Tom Nook. Yeah, been there, done that, got the t-shirt.. So if you're only going for 8 villagers, your starters and Mr O'Hare are gonna have to be kicked off the island the ol' thought bubble way.
