  • Gayton McKenzie's letter to Julius Malema may be a little late. Prisoner rights activist Miles Bhudu is one of his biggest supporters. During the Economic Freedom Fighters manifesto launch in Tembisa on February 22, Bhudu imprisoned himself in extreme hit on the stage, resembling an economic freedom fighter and prisoner.
Bhudu gave a performance, imitating Malema when he insulted a BBC journalist, Johan Fischer during a press conference at the ANC's Luthuli House in Johannesburg. Malema was leading the ruling party's youth league at the time and living a high life in Limpopo and Gauteng where he owned mansions.
Malema was lashing out at the opposition Movement for Democratic Change for using offices in Sandton instead of fighting for their freedom in Zimbabwe. Fischer interrupted him by reminding him that he too lives in Sandton. Malema's suburbian home has since been auctioned to pay for his debt.
