These videos make me cry of jealousy. I was deployed for three years in Italy, and when I came home no one was waiting for me. When I saw my brothers they simply asked, 'what are you doing here?'' When I saw my mother at work to surprise her she said, 'I'm working I'll see you later.' When I saw my dad he grabbed his guitar and starting playing. He acted as though I didn't exist. But the worst was yet to come. When I saw my fiancé she was six months pregnant from a one-night stand. That relationship ended within five minutes. I've never dated since, and I went thirty years without speaking to any member in my family. To this day I have separated my life from humans altogether. I have a small farm where all my farm animals and pets are my best friends. I love it this way. I do not get lonely. And I've turned into a modern day hermit, living forty miles from human contact.
May heaven bless you, Sir! Although I was never a military serviceman, I do know from personal experience the pain you've experienced in that regard. It was the hardest and most bitter experience of my life when my girlfriend and my best friend of 10 years left me to die (seriously) in a hospital after I had been severely Injured and was not expected to live. They both just went radio silent and never visited me after one visit each.even though both were partially responsible for my injury. I only found out what happened months later when I had recovered sufficiently to walk again and was released from the hospital. For me, there is nothing that could hurt worse than the betrayal of those who were closest to me. Much like you, I've lived alone for many years, and I am often called a hermit. These videos do bring tears to my eyes on the ones of the servicemen and women coming home as I've seen several videos of the polar opposite like you have described.
I would have been there for you! No one, NO ONE, deserves that kind of home coming. Please know your commitment and service to our nation is greatly appreciated by simply countless people!!! 🇺🇸❤🇺🇸
I live in the UK and I’m hugely impressed at the way the people of the USA welcome home their loved ones from service abroad. It’s a fantastic thing to see and god bless them for their service. A special mention has to be made to all those brave service men and women who never make it back home.
Being a soldier and returning home from the war counts only when you are far from your home but in your country. When you are outside your country and you are at war on someone else's land, you are a terrorist and there is nothing nice except for your family when you come back, but the dirty work you do remains for God to pay you.
Can anyone watch this without bawling your eyes out!? What really kills me is seeing how much little boys miss their fathers. If you ever wondered if good fathers are important in children’s lives, just watch these.
My father was in the Royal Air Force when I was growing up and spent a significant part of my childhood on deployment and even though I am nearly 60 and he is in his mid 80s I still remember so fondly those days when he would return. I would buy him a tie with my pocket money awaiting said return... needless to say I'm sure they where all simply horrid, but its something that still brings a smile to my face!
These always destroy me. My dad was Army, my brother a Navy SEAL in Vietnam, and I got to surprise my Mom when I separated from the Navy six years after my brother separated. Then, my brother was offerred a commission in the Army and did a few years in Iraq. It sure was nice to get him back in one piece. Well, we're done with our own travels now but the memories are still so strong, so these clips bring it all back!! Thank you all for your service, everyone! It is a huge committment to sign up.

American soldiers do not protect their country, they attack others. No one threatens America.America is at war with countries that have rich natural resources. They kill innocent people around the world to exploit oil, gold, etc. for free. It's just bloody business and nothing more. Don't let them brainwash you.

When I returned from a Kosovo deployment in 2002 I had no one there to greet me, and it crushed me, so please welcome your soldiers home. No matter how "tough" they are or what they say, trust me... it means a LOT more than they're showing.
I'm so sorry. Believe me there are still people who appreciate you, even if you don't know them. Thank you for your service and I'm glad you made it back!

@@MrPicklecopter I understand, especially those that had seen tough combat. My dad was like that, along with severe PTSD. Surprising one's parents or family is good. My mom was over the moon when I came home.
For those of us who have been through this, there is nothing in the world like it. I can still remember the faces of those when I got home and the nerves that I felt waiting on the plane to get off to go surprise them. Thank you to all who have given their time and sacrifice to this country and keep this tradition up!
As I watch these, I think about all those families who lost their loved ones, all those families who never had one happy home coming. To all of those families, no words will ever be enough to ease their pain. I shall forever be thankful to all of them and their families.
Watching this at work is probably the worst decision I’ve ever made as I’m fighting back so many tears. Thank you to all who serve and sacrifice for my freedom. And to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, you are not forgotten. 🇺🇸 🦅
I love when the soldiers come home and stays. I'm so proud of our soldiers. WELCOME HOME!!!!!!!! I love you all and thank you so much for saving us all from bad people.
Our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen and Coast Guardsmen and their families have all sacrificed so much in the service of and in defense of the United Stars of America. We need to respect and support them all. The Vietnam veterans, in particular, were treated most unfairly and with so much contempt by many Americans when they returned home from fighting in the Vietnam War in the late 1960s and early 1970s and for many years afterwards. If you know any Vietnam veterans or if you come across any Vietnam veterans then please make sure that you say to them / tell them "WELCOME HOME". BETTER YET, WELCOME HOME ALL OF THE VETERANS OF ALL BRANCHES FROM THE VERY FEW REMAINING WW 2 AND KOREAN WAR VETERANS TO THE LATEST VETERANS OF IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN . AND THANK YOU TO ALL OF THOSE AMERICAN FAMILIES THAT SHARED THEIR LOVED ONES WITH OUR COUNTRY AND GAVE THEIR SOLDIERS, SAILORS, MARINES, AIRMEN AND COAST GUARDSMEN A PLACE, A REASON AND SOMEONE TO COME HOME TO AND SOMEONE TO WELCOME THEM HOME.
Love these videos but as a UK veteran we never got anything like this when we came home as our family always knew when we were coming home. All I can say is thank you for your service to your country and family. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
These clips always hit me right in the feels. My dad was in the Army, my brother served as a Navy SEAL in Vietnam, and I got to surprise my mom when I came home after six years in the Navy, right after my brother had separated. Later, he was offered a commission in the Army and spent a few years in Iraq. We were so lucky to get him back safe and sound. Now, our family’s military journeys are behind us, but the memories are still so vivid. Watching these clips brings it all rushing back. Thank you to everyone who serves-it’s an incredible commitment, and it means the world!
My Pop joined the Marines in the early 50s. He'd deploy for One to Two years at a time. My Pop never talked about His Job. His leaving and our constant Moving just began our(Six Kids) Normal Life. He did 31 Years in the Marines. He Loved it! Love You Pop.
YOUR POST WAS SO VERY SWEET. IT IS NOT EASY TO MOVE AROUND SO MUCH. MY HUSBAND SERVED 28 YEARS AS A OFFICER AND WE WERE IN GERMANY FOR THREE OF THOSE YEARS. A GOOD ASSIGNMENT. I DID MISS MY TWIN AND FAMILY. BUT WE DID HAVE GREAT FRIENDS THAT WERE GERMANS. BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOURS.
Being the youngest from both sides of my family having 2 siblings serve I love to watch these it makes me happy when I'm down thank you to all those who serve and have served
I remember how we all felt when my SIL came back from Afghanistan. That was the best homecoming ever. My daughter was nine month’s pregnant and had the baby 5 days after his return. My grandson held off for 5 days until his daddy came home. I hate war but I am so grateful for all of our brave men and women that serve to keep us free
THANK YOU FOR YOUR POST. I THINK WE ALL HATE WAR. THOSE THAT SERVE HATE IT THE MOST. THEY LIVE WITH MEMORIES THAT MAY NEVER FADE AWAY IN TIME. I PRAY FOR OUR MILITARY AND OUR COUNTRY. KINDLY, BEV~~

As a Veteran's wife, I sure do know about reunions ... many of them in his 40+ (cadets, military of his many many deployments) services. Love the comments associated with each reunions you did. Thank you.

That was soooo beautiful, yes I needed tissue 🤗. Hugs and Love is what we are all about! Thank you to all the enlisted souls , God Bless You and Your beautiful families 💕
The son that was on his way to a therapy session and sees his Dad. Daddy!! Daddy!! Daddy!! Dad! His voice is getting horse after to yells. I love these. please keep sending more. These military/civilian/family reunions are the absolute most heartwarming.
Great video. Hard to describe the emotions when a loved one returns from a combat deployment. My wife, daughter, and I were at Ft. Bragg when my son returned from 15 months in Iraq (2007/08). Their entire company (C- Company, 2-325) won the CIB in the first 30 days.
I will always have the utmost respect for the MEN and WOMEN in service! Thank all of you past and present so much. If the recruiters would have let me join, I would have been one of you as well. Alas it wasn’t meant to be, so I will have to admire you all from afar.
As an Army Veteran myself (late 70's) Your video put tears in my eyes for these Vetrans and their familys. For All Veterans and our familys WE say thank you. US Army Sp4 Aultman, 12B Combat Engineere .
So poignant I can barely see the scrren.. 3 older brothers, a younger sister and an older sister... my beloved mom and dad.. my just turned 21 year old grandson... all lost to illness and accident,, if I could see them again my joy would be beyond measure. Blessings to all those who have love and hope
YOU CLEARLY LOVE...AND HAVE LOVED. THAT GIFT OF YOUR HEART IS OF GOD. I BELIEVE THAT YOU WILL SEE YOUR FAMILY AGAIN IN HEAVEN...JUST KEEP BELIEVING AND TALKING TO GOD. HE IS THERE WHEN NO ONE ELSE CAN BE FOUND. AND YOU HAVE BEEN LOVED FOR SURE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR POST/SHARING. BLESSINGS IN MEMORIES AND THE HOPE OF SALVATION IN CHRIST.
These videos are so awesome. Makes me cry. My bf comes home this week and I couldn’t be more excited for anything in my entire life. It’s an amazing feeling seeing them again. And to those who weren’t able to make it home,, rest easy and thank you for your service!
These clips always make me smile and remind of the time I surprised my mom by flying home from Germany for thanksgiving. I'd been gone for 3 years. I thought she was going to break my back she hugged me so hard.
crying like a baby watching these reunions.... THANK YOU TO ALL THAT SERVE and come home to family that have missed you... RIP to all those who dont. thank you all for your service.
That was awesome, there was nothing better than seeing my mom and dads faces whenever my big brother came home from Vietnam. This video made me happy even though my brother didn't make it home alive the last time. All the good times this video brought back 56 years later erased a lot of the bad. Thank you for your service. Hug your family.
Every single one of these videos takes me back in time. My Father was on deployment for six month periods of time constantly. Groton, CT, 1961-1965. I missed my best friend at that time and I miss him still today more than ever. RIP Dad.
It is not just the soldiers who risk and sacrifice so much for their country...also their families, their relatives and their loved ones...they should also be shown respect and recognition.
As a Veteran, these always bring tears to my eyes. It reminds me if the many times I returned home to my loved ones. I don't know who shed the most tears, my parents, my son, or me! .❤
Wished I had family and friends to come see me after my 3 deployments to Afghanistan these always are hard for me to watch but I'm happy these families got their day
8:51 Thank you to allow one of our GE Air Force troopers to be part of this amazing and heartwarming video as well. God bless America and God bless the United States Forces. 👍👍
Oh man, two weeks ago watching these I could get through them, but then my sailor came home and had to leave again and I'm tearing up :( Thank you to all military and veterans for serving our country.
That moment whene your eyes tear up becouse how emotional these surprise meeting are, and how i wish someone was this happy too see me like ever. Thanks you for all those service members, making the sacrifice so that another soilder can come home to see his family again ❤
Never military but just always wanted to feel this embrace or care from another human being. No don’t comment I ain’t after no pity, just stating that this is a great blessing. I’ll get there one day.
I will never forget the day my Dad came home. I was 4 years old and we My mom and sister greeted my Dad at the Brookley Air Force Base Flight Line. He was stationed in Saigon , for 2 years. Every Day Mama made sure to point out the last photo we had of him and remind us that was our Daddy. He and Mama have been gone for over 20 years now and I just lost my only sibling. Now I am all alone. But I have some really good friends that are my family now.
Years ago, my daughter came home after being deployed to the Middle East. Because of her orders and my circumstances, we were unable to see each other for over a year even though she was then stateside. When I was able to go to her a year later, I finally felt she was home. Your servicemenber isn't HOME until you can wrap your arms around them.❤❤
this is gonna be me one day...I'm planning on joining the R.C.Armed Forces in a few years like my grandpa and I can't wait for these moments to come. all my respect to every soldier who has fallen, and every soldier who has come home as well. Thank you for your sacrifices. can't wait to serve my country
OMG!! The daughters running to their dads is sooooo special... This is the 100% the reason why i (GenX) moved away with my wife when she wanted a baby. We spent the last 16 years devoted to her. Never had a babysitter & the full commitment is worth it...Dads & sons have history on their side & they have an heir. BUT my daughter has made me sooo proud...From skateboarding with this 1990's skater, to boxing,,to Gaming to hunting. Our Daughter means the world to me & my wife.
These vids always hit my heart. 80% of my dads side and a couple on my moms side including myself have served. Always love these vids. Coming home always makes ya cry.
Im a 30 year retired Marine 78 years old Thanks for the Memories made me cry Im the last man standing but I will join her someday Thanks Again Marines Do Cry
At my age I have seen a lot of military officers, enlisted, police officers, politicians, pastors, and many people that help others in the healthcare system and all colors and backgrounds. We need to support those that are helping us not only in this country but on our planet. We all have our own accomplishments I remember a lot of coming home events as my father did for so many years. He is forever in my heart and prayers. My brother and I served together in the U.S.NAVY. So still to this day everytime I see him I remember the sacrifices we both made. We are still on a journey together.
Those soldiers don't even know how lucky they are to be able to wear fatigues in civilian society without being yelled at and insulted. Vietnam veterans had to change into civilian clothing and were unable to even wear fatigues back in America.
My late father was serving in the RAF at the time this war was on (he never told me where). He remembered watching as the US higher ups were treating the US soldiers that had just flown into the base as failures, treating them as if they were nothing. Then the late Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip turned up; he met the US soldiers, saluted and talked to them as individuals, treating them with respect and understanding. As a WW11 Navy veteran who had fought in the frontline to save his crew, he had a good idea what these soldiers had been through. Dad was disgusted at how the US personnel were treating their comrades, but proud that the British Forces welcomed them back with the respect that they deserved for fighting a war that many of them were conscripted into, some at a young age. I’m sorry that the abuse followed these veterans home.
I really tear up for videos like these. I came home once as a "surprise" and I got a I should have called first. I didn't return home for another ten years. Now as an older man without kids I know I missed out on a once in a lifetime experience. I appreciate families that look out for and love one another but it does make me uncomfortable to be around. Nice video with some real tear jerkers.
It makes me cry because it's so beautiful and the fact if i could have my dad back id be the same way. I tell all my nieces and nephews no matter what love your parents because when they gone there is no coming back this video is Priceless and beautiful
This is so heart warm love this my Messi dad flew when he dunked on the basketball hoop there is tears running down my face DADDY DADDY DADDY!! ITS THE GREAT GRANDMA
In spite of the family separations, long TDYs, and some pretty bad assignments my family and I would do that twenty years all over again. What an experience. What civilians don't understand is that the ENTIRE FAMILY makes sacrifices and serves TOGETHER. This video brought back great memories and not just a couple of tears to the eyes of this crusty old sarge. G-dspeed to all my brothers and sisters in arms and their families!
They tell me I wouldn’t talk to my dad when he got back from Vietnam in 1971. His hair was bleached blonde from the sun and I just hadn’t seen him in so long. Now it’s my husband and my kids who I wait for to come home
Thanks for making me cry on Friday. Please be assured they are all cries of happiness and thankfulness that all who returned did in fact return. God bless you all!
As a father of 2 active sons in the U.S Army the video's of the sons coming home to their father's hit me hard . But 2:15 (which was the opposite) broke me. Thank you all for your service.

🥲
Being a Veteran, this brought quite a bit more than a tear to my eyes. Well done!!!!!!
What is great is having been one of those who came home.
WHAT A MOST KIND AND GRATEFUL POST. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!
I hope all of those servicemen and servicewomen are home for good. Thank you all for your service.
Watching this at work is probably the worst decision I’ve ever made as I’m fighting back so many tears. Thank you to all who serve and sacrifice for my freedom. And to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, you are not forgotten. 🇺🇸 🦅
These videos are so heart warming. I cry everytime I see them. It's such a beautiful sight to see the welcome home for our military men and women...
I love when the soldiers come home and stays. I'm so proud of our soldiers. WELCOME HOME!!!!!!!! I love you all and thank you so much for saving us all from bad people.
Thank you for all the incredible people who give us much to iur country.
VERY SWEET POST! THANK YOU FOR SHARING...
I’m from NZ and the UK adopted me. Thank you for your service to the country that adopted me.
From London we send love and gratitude to you all
Balling my eyes out, as I do with every one of these! So much love & joy & nothing else matters 🙏💖
Sister in law ended up being male???? Someone is woke.....
THANK YOU FOR YOUR POST. I THINK WE ALL HATE WAR. THOSE THAT SERVE HATE IT THE MOST. THEY LIVE WITH MEMORIES THAT MAY NEVER FADE AWAY IN TIME. I PRAY FOR OUR MILITARY AND OUR COUNTRY. KINDLY, BEV~~

Kill Iraqi, Afghan and Palestinian children. Then emotional exploitation.
I have also had these experiences of home coming when my children were little . I’ll never forget the feeling of love . Thanks for posting this , brings a lot of great memories
As a Veteran's wife, I sure do know about reunions ... many of them in his 40+ (cadets, military of his many many deployments) services. Love the comments associated with each reunions you did. Thank you.
My son is a soldier in the Royal Danish Army, and I totally relate to the emotions released when welcoming these heroes back home.
PLEASE GIVE YOUR SON MY HIGHEST PRAISE IN HIS SERVICE IN THE ROYAL DANISH ARMY. THAT IS SURELY AN HONOR! BLESSINGS TO YOU SON AND YOUR FAMILY...WARMLY, BEV~~
Don't let him go to Ukraine...

He won't.
Not unless NATO goes to war.
If he volunteers, he will be kicked out of the army, but as a NATO/UN soldier, he has to go whereever he is sent.
my mom and dad both passed away, i would give anything to hug them one more time
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR POST. I UNDERSTAND AND CAN RELATE TO YOUR LOVE AND YOUR MISSING YOUR PARENTS. YOUR PARENTS WERE SO BLESSED TO HAVE YOU AS THEIRS...I AM SURE THEY FELT THIS WAY TOO. BLESSINGS TO YOU. STAY CLOSE TO GOD IN THIS INSANE WORLD WE LIVE IN. KINDLYL, BEV~~
Thank you for this, pal! Even after all these years, I feel the weight of the sacrifices I made for my country, and seeing this...this reminds me of why I made them. And, if you will all permit me to say: ⚓GO NAVY⚓
For All Veterans and our familys
WE say thank you.
After countless days on the battlefield, seeing his beloved home, the soldier’s heart bursts with happiness and peace.
Didn't think I could take a half hour of this 😭 Thank you for sharing ❤ Thank you to all that each of you have given...
Soldiers and Families 💝 🇺🇲💪
These videos are so awesome. Makes me cry. My bf comes home this week and I couldn’t be more excited for anything in my entire life. It’s an amazing feeling seeing them again. And to those who weren’t able to make it home,, rest easy and thank you for your service!
No matter how many of these videos I watch, they never get old!
These clips always make me smile and remind of the time I surprised my mom by flying home from Germany for thanksgiving. I'd been gone for 3 years. I thought she was going to break my back she hugged me so hard.
My face hurts from smiling so much. I love these reunions
Please don’t stop with these videos. As a father I pray that one day I will have one of my or all of my children surprise me with a hug and kiss.
TEARS OF JOY AND LOVE, THANKS FOR SHARING 😊
crying like a baby watching these reunions.... THANK YOU TO ALL THAT SERVE and come home to family that have missed you... RIP to all those who dont. thank you all for your service.
All I can ever do is cry. Thank u men and women for ur sacrafice
I did this to my Mom when I went home on leave without telling her. It's such an emotional feeling.
SO GLAD YOU POSTED. I CAN WELL IMAGINE THE FEELING OF THE ELEMENT OF SURPRISE. A GIFT FOR SURE YOU GAVE YOUR MOM. SWEET.

Every single one of these videos takes me back in time. My Father was on deployment for six month periods of time constantly. Groton, CT, 1961-1965. I missed my best friend at that time and I miss him still today more than ever. RIP Dad.
i love these reunions
It is not just the soldiers who risk and sacrifice so much for their country...also their families, their relatives and their loved ones...they should also be shown respect and recognition.
Veteran, here. This is what kept us going.
Oh man, two weeks ago watching these I could get through them, but then my sailor came home and had to leave again and I'm tearing up :(
Thank you to all military and veterans for serving our country.
I cried watching every one of these, it's beautiful and loving. Thank all of them for their service.
The dignity of the pilot, his wife and 3 children were awesome,
I HAD THE EXACT SAME REACTION!
WOW tears rolling - Always good to know that a soldier is coming home to their family. Thanks to all of you!
Thank you to All who have served to protect our great country, past present and future!!!
American soldiers do not protect their country, they attack others. No one threatens America. Don't let them brainwash you.
Be a good dad, brother, husband, son. It will all fall into place.
YOU SURELY HAVE A KIND HEART. AND YOUR HEART WILL EXPRESS THAT KINDNESS TO OTHERS.
Never had a babysitter & the full commitment
is worth it...Dads & sons have history on their side & they have an heir.
BUT my daughter has made me sooo proud...From skateboarding with this 1990's skater,
to boxing,,to Gaming to hunting.
I'm sorry. I know it means nothing now, but this stranger across the internet is happy you made it home.
❤ Amazing videos ❤ Thank Y'all for your Service ❤ RESPECT ❤
My dad was in the army 4 years as a land mechanic before I was born. However today… I tell everyone in uniform…. Thank you for your service.
That’s the best surprise ever!
It makes me cry because it's so beautiful and the fact if i could have my dad back id be the same way. I tell all my nieces and nephews no matter what love your parents because when they gone there is no coming back this video is Priceless and beautiful
Amen to that! May the love of Jesus be with you and give you peace ❤❤❤
Picture and you're making me cry now why does emotional thing you stop it stop it stop it
They tell me I wouldn’t talk to my dad when he got back from Vietnam in 1971. His hair was bleached blonde from the sun and I just hadn’t seen him in so long. Now it’s my husband and my kids who I wait for to come home
BLESS YOUR HEART. IT IS SO HARD ON THOSE LEFT BEHIND. GOD BE WITH YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND AND KIDS.
Thanks for making me cry on Friday. Please be assured they are all cries of happiness and thankfulness that all who returned did in fact return. God bless you all!
I love watching these but I always end up crying
I've been crying all throughout this video....lots of good people, great families, and abundant love....
As a father of 2 active sons in the U.S Army the video's of the sons coming home to their father's hit me hard . But 2:15 (which was the opposite) broke me. Thank you all for your service.
DADDY!!!! Those cries are the most beautiful thing a father can hear
Came home in 74 from deployment and there's nothing that feels any better
SO GLAD YOU CAME HOME SAFELY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE KEITH...BLESSINGS~~BEV~~
Best compilation I have ever seen! Crying right now and I never cry. THANK YOU!
I remember the wonderful feeling when my brother returned from Operation Desert Storm!!
PLEASE THANK YOUR BROTHER FOR ME. I COME FROM A LONG HISTORY OF MILITARY. MY HUSBAND SERVED 28 YEARS AS A OFFICER IN THE ARMY. STRESSFUL FOR SURE. BUT WE DID MEET GREAT PEOPLE. LEE WAS STATIONED IN GERMANY FOR THREE YEARS. THE GERMAN PEOPLE WERE VERY KIND. BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
These are definitely the best videos on the internet.....true happiness.....always bring the tears
