  • Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker, and Slim Jim Phantom (The Stray Cats) chat with TV host Regis Philbin in a New York City hotel room the morning after a concert in January 1984. Probably shot around January 18 because they played the Roseland Ballroom (NYC) on January 17. Also, Lee states that the video for "Look at That Cadillac" will be out the following week, and the single was released on January 28, 1984 in the USA. They played a gig at the now-shuttered Calderone Concert Hall in Hempstead, Long Island, NY, the following day (January 19, 1984).

This feels like Regis is the principal / guidance counselor interogating three truant hoodlums.

They look so happy and getting on so well, it was a pity that in a few months they will broke up and end that one of a kind trio of the Stray Cats in their best years. Later on Rock Therapy and Blast Off ( as good as they were) didn’t catch on the original rebel spirit of their early years, in my opinion
