Ok first off....there isnt a tab worth a shit anywhere on the net. second off. DUDE THANK YOU SO MUCH! this is spot on. I picked it up (sans all the tricky solo stuff) in about 10 minutes from watching this. keep up the good work.!
yeah bud whoever u are good shit, be proud, especially posting the accurate tab too, well done all round....i hate most ppl who post this sorta cover but you're an exception
this is so good, that it demotivates me to thoroughly learn this peace by ear, it would be just so easy to look just how you play it, or, what would be even worse, just rip it from your tabs :). I'll try to have strong will and will take a peak at your materials only when I really will not be able to hear out what's warren playing ;)
I hope you don't mind but your video helped me immensly. Our band is doing this song and I learned all my parts thanks to you. This speeded up the process instead of playing it from audio. You played it flawlesy and I love your Les Paul. You play great man. Thanks again Cheers Mike ps: I have the Toneport myself and I love the sounds it gets for me
I stumbled onto your sunshine of your love video, really liked it,your other stuff is great as well-I'm now a new subscriber. You've got very nice videos so I can watch and learn, and your tone and playing is excellent. Rock on and keep em' comming.
Nice playing man. did you add camera angles too haha. Good job on the transcriptions too. We got to get you reading and writing music. Im impressed with your transcription. I definitely got alot of catching up to do.
Thanks! the stock ones that came with the Strat. i not a big fan of messing around with guitars, especially vintage ones. if i like one, i keep it, if not i sell it. Rob
Just like with your other videos, great stuff. I see you haven't made one since 2 years ago, so it might be time to dust off the cobwebs...how about one for Bring On the Music from Shout!?
I've watched your videos for a while, as I am also a Mulehead. All your videos have allowed me to learn the song and sound more like my hero named Warren. Just wanted to point out that part 2 of your tab of the bridge lick is wrong. As I'm sure you know it should be 7th fret instead of 6th fret for the E string. Just wanted to help all the other Muleheads out there. Thanks and keep posting, because I'll surely watch it.
@rockinthefirebird Oh crap, thanks for bringing that to my attention. I imagine that would sound pretty bad if played the way I have it written, lol. But otherwise, I'm glad you've gotten something out of my videos.
Thanks. I've only learned a little bit of that one. I know he plays it tuned down a half-step and uses a capo. Anyway, I'll prob do that one eventually.
Hey thanks, Alex. Yea I really wanna branch out from all this pentatonic stuff. I think the solution is some jazz and theory. I'm waiting to see some videos from you so that I can subscribe! You got a sweet account name, btw.
How to get that tone??? I know this vid is pretty old, but I need to know how you get these ghost notes to sound as clean as on the record... Tried it with a jubilee and an overdrive, but it just sounds messed up...
Howdy! If I were playing through a Jubilee, I probably dial-in some nice crunch, and then back down the bridge pickup volume to taste (until it cleans up a bit; and maybe dial the tone knob back a few spots to like 7 or 5). If your tone gets too muddy when dialing the volume knob down, that probably means your pots are wired to "modern wiring". I've recently realized that I much prefer 50s wiring (to retain treble response). However, in this video, my Les Paul was wired with modern wiring.
Found this 14 years later and it's more helpful than anything available online for free.
Nice to hear! Rock n roll!
amazing man, your the only person on youtube who does govt mule lessons this well, keep em comin and rock on!

Hey lefty, thanks for the encouragement. I don't plan on stopping!
@MrBeastlyguitar Thanks. The amplification was the Line 6 Tone Port UX2 plugged directly into the computer. It was on a Marshall Plexi setting.

Very, very nice, good job and tasty. Glen
Thanks!
That was an awesome post! Thanks for the tab too. Do you have Govt Mule - I think you know what i mean?
Such an incredible song and you nailed it. Great job.
Seriously nicely done, thanks for sharing...Was that a backing track you were playing over?
I normally use Ernie Ball 10-46, but on this video, and recently, I've been using Elixir 10-46 because they tend to sound and feel "springy" longer.
lol, well hey, it's here for the taking! thanks.
Haha, well I think that just made my day. Thanks.
@thunderdrumass Thanks, man!
Hey Kool T...just stoppin by to get a fix of some asskickin pickin ...This jams...so f.in..hard...You rock Dude!!!!!!

What pickups are in your strat? Great tone.
Haha, thanks man. I like the LP too!
Where can I check out your Firebird, though? I didn't see any videos on your channel?
I made a tab of the verses and the riffs before/after the solo. The link is in the description box.
Love your work brother! nice tone and graet guitar. What model I am guessing standard!
hay man are you ever going to do a "Mule" cover
Thank you I'll be without physics homework tomorrow in class
Hey thanks, Alex. Yea I really wanna branch out from all this pentatonic stuff. I think the solution is some jazz and theory. I'm waiting to see some videos from you so that I can subscribe! You got a sweet account name, btw.

Question : have you ever done 'Endless parade' ?
Haha, you're welcome. Glad it helped.
Good Job! How bout more AC/DC :)
oh fuck yea
How to get that tone??? I know this vid is pretty old, but I need to know how you get these ghost notes to sound as clean as on the record... Tried it with a jubilee and an overdrive, but it just sounds messed up...

@tehorix789 what is the second solo between the first verse and second verse?
is it standard tuning?

Cant view the tab. Any recommendations?
