Hi. Your review is absolutely incredible... I knew Stan SOLO creations but I think, althoug i usually hate repro stuff this guy and its creations are really A-LEVEL.... and absolutely awesome! I see your point about slight difference to generic kenner size and look. That said Kenner started to address that. Gamorean Guard comes to mind that they didnt slim them up. Good appraisal Dean. The Obi One is what the Emperor should have been.
Nice I have seen the next 17 figures for some time but not for me so far. Great reviews of them and I know what you mean I went to write last 17 not next 17

Next 17 just released a very nice vintage line Hermi Odle figure and it’s already sold out and I knew nothing about it but I would’ve bought one or two for my SW collection, I hope Next 17 does a re release on this figure again Toy Polloi released a video on the Hermi figure u should check it out it looks awesome
These are nice figures. I think you nailed it though. I’ve seen these at events, and I agree there is something that’s very not-like-Kenner about them. I couldn’t figure out what it was. But it’s the finish and the paint. And I bet you are right. Maybe it’s cos they are painted and not cast.
I think these would be a great Star Wars Cartoon Series Line. Way better than the real cartoon figures (when Big Corporates are getting involved,don't think things are getting better, there is a reason why the weak run from the cops rather than working with them )
Awesome figures by The Next 17. Love these new Cantina characters. Would be nice to see independent makers create more custom vehicles (industrial produced) in the Kenner style. The Ubrikkian 9000 Speeder by Stan Solo I found amazing. Would love to see a version of the unproduced Kenner prototype of The Rebel Blockade Runner. Is there a Star Wars character, diorama or vehicle (Kenner style) that you missed in the toyline trough the years?
I have nothing to add, l feel exactly the same way. I have bought and sold new lines because they don't move me. I received my final kenner figure today the imperial Probot and Stan Solo greedo
With the two Aliens I must say, give them two ranged rifles and they look great in a Jabba Display Set. The Club and the Rambo Knife doesn't really trigger excitement when even the Max Rebo Band looks more menacing than them.
Why the heck did he make a glow in the dark wampa and not the force ghost trio? I agree that the craftsmanship of those figures are amazing but that selection of characters leaves me scratching my head. Why even make those?

I don't think it's because they're new characters, there's just something "off" about them. That's not to say they're not good figures though.

I would be happy to see the custom makers come up with new ships in the style of the Kenner mini-Riggs.

Glow in the dark stuff is quite fun. But on the whole, most of those figures don't mean a great deal to me, don't recognise them from the films.
You can't beat a bit of glow in the dark to rekindle those memories of being a kid in the 80s.👍🏻
