philo is making it easier to access their FREE ad supported channel lineup. We are seeing this trend more and more with live TV streaming services now promoting their FREE ad supported content. In this video Freddie Tech shows you the site where you can sign up to access 70 plus (at time of recording )FREE channels. FRNDLY is less expensive that 25.00 but when my service ends will watch this instead of paying.

I did but to get dvr you have to pay unless you do the trial at this time.

This is interesting! The website should allow anyone to sign up and get all features from our understanding.

I signed up for free but when I tried to watch a saved program it told me I had to upgrade. The official date for change is 6/12. I am going to see if that changes then. Right now I have to sign up for a trial to use the dvr.

We know if the saved program was from when you were paying for the core channels or from when using the free trial that expired, it will prompt you to upgrade if you try to watch it. The program still stay in the saved section for a year if it's from the core pay plan.

I signed up for free channels after I saw your video. Just letting people know at this time dvr is not available unless you are in free trial (30 days) or subscription. Don't Know if that changes June 12.

Be careful whenever you hit a show or movies on the guide it will automatically Restart it instead of live just as a side note.

Go to your settings meaning your account on the Philo and you can set that where it won't do that
