This seems so weird that Facebook would require a personal profile for businesses. Is this what major corporations do? Hypothetically would Coca-Cola have their account made via an employee or managers personal account? What if that person leaves the company? Does Coca-Cola need to reboot their page or struggle to wrest admin control from said person in the event they are no longer with the company? I feel like I'm missing something.
If Coca-Cola had software, yes they would. The main idea is that you don't want people sharing logins. If you had an employee leave mad, and they had the Admin access to the page, they could delete it, kick people off, any number of things. With each person having their own login, you can set up different levels of access. Hopefully an employee would never be given Admin access. And if they left, they would be removed, and their replacement would be added.

My same question! Everyone is an employee so an "Admin" has the potential to wreak havoc if they wanted too. I don't think major companies have to do that or they have their employees sign a contract. Still doesn't seem to make sense. ESPECIALLY since corps are "persons".

This no longer works. I followed the exact steps and Facebook bots figure it out I was duplicating an account and they put my new account on temporary restrictive hold meaning I cannot comment or do anything on my own account. And worse they don’t tell you why they did it and there is no contact chat or phone number to call to figure out what’s going on.
This video tells you nothing other than to create a FB account and turn off notifications & add shortcuts. There was no step for creating the business page and nothing about making the account unsearchable. pointless.

Be careful with FB nowadays, they're shutting down accounts like crazy. One friend was the administrator of several FB business accounts and now he can't. For another friend FB keeps asking to upload an ID and she has done it several times with different IDs and FB still won't give her back the account. FB is garbage in my opinion, fortunately I've never had an account.

Sorry to hear that happened. Facebook's guidelines are super vague, which is annoying. Unfortunately I don't have any way to know why your account was suspended. Sometimes it's just a bot that gets it wrong.

This was something Facebook tested briefly last year. Public Figure pages run more like Business Pages, but look more like Personal Profiles. Don't think they are even available anymore.

They shouldn't be. Under Page Transparency they can see some history of the page (when it was created, name changes, etc.) but you don't have to show who the Admins are.

Nah, not misled, I'm not a fool. I'm just saying a simple NO to the question of "Can I..." is really the quick answer. Otherwise, the video is a waste of time.
Account legitimacy is a big problem with this method. Often times when the account shows little to no action, FB will flag as spam and take it down. Concerning risk, especially when client's are involved.

A Facebook Business Page will never show up in search as well as a nicely done website, but beyond that it just depends on the perception of your ideal customers. Some people don't trust companies without websites, while others don't care either way. Hope that helps!

I just want a musician Facebook page using a pseudonym or my “stage name”. I don’t want to use my real name. However, the whole facebook marketplace thing that's out now looks interesting, to be able to buy stuff secondhand and sell stuff that I don't want or need... is this workaround video suitable for something like that as well? Yes, you could use Facebook Marketplace in the same way. People might be a little suspicious to buy or sell with you since you have no friends on Facebook. Perhaps not, but just something to be aware of.

Why were you creating a duplicate account? Why not just use the profile you already had?

A personal profile is always required. If it is a client, they should create the page and you can add it using Meta Business Suite.

There are probably hundreds of people with the same name on Facebook. There is no way to identify you unless you have a picture posted!

As far as I know, Business Pages CAN'T post to Marketplace unless you are paying for ads. Only personal profiles can post for free.

Account legitimacy is a big problem with this method. Often times when the account shows little to no action, FB will flag as spam and take it down. Concerning risk, especially when client's are involved.

Wonderful, call me a dummy but in life with TOO MANY options and such. WE LIKE DETAILS🤣 May sound "dumb" but just to be clear, NOW WHAT? Now we have created a profile exactly as described here what next? Log out and then create a separate FB business profile, I assume? Seems obvious, but technicalities matter especially to newbies. Also under "notifications" in the page we created there is no longer a "Pages I Manage" tab, hoping that's not an issue.
I’m having issues sharing a post to a group as my business was account. It only lets me post it as my personal account - I can’t switch accounts before sharing or anything like that. I don’t have the option to join any groups either with my business account. Please help!

I'm looking at simply having a FB business page for the visitors to my site. Is that OK?
A Facebook Business Page will never show up in search as well as a nicely done website, but beyond that it just depends on the perception of your ideal customers. Some people don't trust companies without websites, while others don't care either way. Hope that helps!

Isn't that if you don't friend anyone or accept any friend request, then fb could ban you when you runs some ads...? Or get shut down?
No they don’t. They banned my real account from ads so I had to make a new one. I’m my only friend and run ads just fine

I just want a musician Facebook page using a pseudonym or my “stage name”. I don’t want to use my real name. Other artists with pseudonyms have managed to create Facebook pages and not use their real names. So surely There’s a way. So convince me you can do it for me, that you are legitimate and I’ll pay you for your services.

Thanks for the great video have not long started to follow you, I'm really struggling with time for the business social media, so much to do, no time to do it in, seriously looking at & thinking about a "Social Media Manager" the trouble is what we do is very specialized to the point where I'd still have to write all the content myself then send it to someone by the time do that I may as well post it up myself.

The most effective, long term solution is to figure out a simple strategy that works for you and your business, then outsource it to someone that can execute your vision. This is much cheaper than hiring an expert social media person.

Hey man, cool video! I'm not on facebook, never have, I don't do facebook, and I don't want a facebook, EVER.
However, the whole facebook marketplace thing that's out now looks interesting, to be able to buy stuff secondhand and sell stuff that I don't want or need... is this workaround video suitable for something like that as well? Or do you have a separate video or would you make a separate video specific to facebook marketplace?
Otherwise I'd probably just get one of my friends to use their account to buy me stuff and sell my stuff, or get back into kijiji again... LMAO!!! 🤣

Yes, you could use Facebook Marketplace in the same way. People might be a little suspicious to buy or sell with you since you have no friends on Facebook. Perhaps not, but just something to be aware of.

FINALLY you solved my problem! Trying to link Facebook business account Instagram business account, but Instagram only saw personal Facebook account. Now I only use personal account also as a business account with no friends and add to feature post link to my business facebook account page. Brilliant!!!
