It's Year 6 in the Buffalo Bulls Dynasty. We've built this team into a strong G5 program, but haven't been able to win postseason games with our strongest teams. We begin a new year replacing last year's top QB, RB, WR, EDGE, and DT. Can our recent recruiting classes get us over the edge? Winning postseason games and the MAC Conference remain our goals after falling short each of the past two years.
My first BIG Dynasty in College Football 25 is with the Buffalo Bulls, a 1 star program that has never been ranked higher than #23 and has only won 3 Bowl Games. A big challenge is ahead as I aim to build this program into a college football powerhouse. Recruiting will be a major challenge and the lack of resources will make it tough to rebuild the Bulls. But I've been waiting 11 years for this game, and I'm ready for my newest Dynasty.
In this Dynasty I will play on Heisman difficulty. I will be playing every single game with no simulating. Not every game will get its' own video, but no significant action or important storylines will be missed. I plan to spend many years trying to build the Bulls into the best team I can.
"You don't want to be in harms way" is up there as one of your best lines cane ngl.
Am i the only one that LOVES when things just naturally happen realistically? Like a QB from Connecticut, playing for Connecticut with the last name DeMarco. So enjoyable.

Bloom needs more carries. He's so underrated

Oscar McNabb is quickly becoming one of my favorite players ever. Getting Jacoury Daye vibes
There are some games like this where the RB rotation should really start in the 2nd quarter. Maier didn't look particularly bad, but 10 carries for 23 yards is still a rough start. He's not enough of a bruising "wear down the defense" type of back to keep going with him. Even if it's more on the OLine, he may still benefit from an earlier break.
When he's getting shut down earlier, harms should be getting touches for his power. Harms can wear down the defense in the 2nd and 3rd and then maier could slip back in early 3rd/4th and dominate
I agree with that. I look at it a little like basketball rotations.
Few things: 1. You’re getting a lot better playing with Ogbonna. 2. Running game with Maier just isn’t working. He needs to be running downhill more. Bloom also needs more touches but you’re doing a good job getting him on routes out the backfield. 3. Unpopular opinion,but may have to look at benching Boffeli. Carmona or Spencer Jordan should start splitting snaps with him in the slot. Those two touchdowns could be the game later in the season.
For instance,that last snap,I know you were in palms,cause I’ve gotten burnt like that before. Problem is,there’s a TE to Boffelis side,so the S and LB bracket him,instead of the S shading over the top. Everyone else held there assignment but boffeli just can’t run with that route

10:10 the tight end screens have been the worst plays in the offense for far too long. Even when they "work" they still struggle to get more than 5 yards. They all needed to get thrown out multiple seasons ago.
Basically all of the end around plays too.
Screens in general in this game are terrible. The player always gets stuck on blockers and that’s even if you can get the ball off
This and the Jaguar series is what’s keeping me alive. Might be two of your best series of all time! Been a while since any TH-cam series had my attention like this. Keep it up!

Yeah, you should give up on Gostkowski. If the CPU is outpacing you on influence and ahead of you then there's no chance to win the recruit. Until you get the pipeline boosts in the talent tree, you're probably not going to see come from behind recruiting wins against schools that are actively recruiting those players.
The names in this game are continually funny to me. One of my dynasties had back to back stud RBs named Quan Bloom and Emeka Key.

For watching on a phone, the grey jerseys vs white isn't super easy to discern. I love mixing them up, but maybe give the other team some alts then too.

Glad you were able to hit a home run ball. Constantly having to use 14 or 15 play drives to score is tough.

Playcalling is nearly there. Totally get rid of those TE screens and in stead call 2 or 3 more shot plays a game and your golden. Also McNabb deserves a bigger package.

You can't overlook the problems in your secondary especially if you want to win the MAC Championship and eventually move to the B1G Ten
I'm a bit concerned about the 4th qtr collapse that this team has had happen a few times this season. Hopefully time will fix that cohesion problem.
That’s just how the CPU works, they become unstoppable in the 4th unless you force a turnover

Harms is going to end the season as the teams most efficient rusher. Also this should be the blueprint for the season, 3 headed rb room if Maier can’t get going early. Need more emphasis on the pass game, the playmakers are just too good in the MAC to be set aside
Boffeli ain’t it, he’s too much of an athletic liability
As long as the offensive line comes to play every game the run game will eventually be consistent Maier has too much talent not to get it going at some point good thing Trejo & McNabb provide the team with speed so if the run game is not effective the pass game can pick up the slack all things considered the team goal is to win the MAC
Good all-around game, but those long TDs given up making the final score look closer than it actually was...gotta clean that up. We don't need any more 4th quarter collapses like you had routinely in the first 4 seasons of the dynasty.
Meier will be fine. Just gotta ride it out and roate well.
I really like those full house pistol formations; getting extra blockers on the field will help you open up the run and there are some nice RPO options out of those sets, too. The TE screen has to come out of the playbook, though-- you simply don't have the personnel for it. Cajuste, for all his flaws, had a sneaky bit of speed, but Scarborough and Ebikete just don't have the athleticism to do anything in space.
With some regression at the skill positions this year, you might have to play a more smashmouth style of ball to win. You've got a solid defense and an interesting RB committee to lean on. That might make David Ogbonna unhappy, sure... but are you playing to make guys happy, or to win a title?

I think you said in the last game you had more fun playing after the last ea update. I agree. The game is playing really well on the matt10 sliders after that last update. I am having a lot of fun with it. Before cpu passing was kind of OP (not as bad as it was 3 months ago though) and the cpu run game was nonexistent.
What is your injury and fatigue settings at because seems like you are showing wear and tear between games. Which I rarely see

as somebody who didn't think ogbonna should have been the starter, especially after the first 2 games, with how awesome ogbonna has looked in the last two you need to throw that ball more.

One thing I've noticed in CFB25 is TE's kind of struggle. They cap fairly early and play is sporadic. Could explain the weird TE turnovers
Blocking TEs are the only ones that progress a lot in overall
@pels_stacked I haven't recruited many blocking styles. Do theirs hands and route running become decent?
@ eventually yeah, their overalls shoot up in the offseason because receiving ratings boost overall more than blocking ratings and they tend to upgrade receiving skills. Their speed is never great though

if lokombo commits and maier continues his poor form and loses his spot, how do you feel about him transfering?
I have started forcing transfers for starter level players going into sophomore or junior year that get beat out by younger players the previous season. Feels realistic and makes off seasons more interesting
Ya TES would be useful if you started motioning manually I realize you don’t do that or set protections just some free advice move ya players around the cpu will show whether it’s man or zone

I can't see anyway that this team doesn't win the MAC this year. With how they played against Michigan their ready. I don't think it looks good for Ogbonna sticking around.

Am I the only one who thinks that the AI O-line on running downs seems to be a lil over powered… I couldn’t count the amount of pancakes they had this game and it doesn’t always seem like the D-Line is trying or something. Just food for thought.

This series is getting kind of boring moving so slow. Most plays feel like a waste of time to watch. The jaguars, on the other hand, is always dynamic and interesting, feels like something meaningful is happening often enough to be worth watching the whole video.
Why would I want to watch a first down going 1 yard followed by a second going 2 yards? Just show the 3rd & 7 already
You might not like the pace of these kinds of series vs the second channel. Here I play every game, and try to have the experience feel closer to a full game. Not every play is included, but enough to really show the kind of game it was.
