Family eye test for Kian revealed brain tumour | Specsavers UK

During a routine family trip to Specsavers Oakwood, Kian’s eye test revealed he had a swollen optic nerve, typically caused by fluid pressure on the brain. Kian was urgently referred to hospital where he received a brain scan and two tumours were discovered.

I literally went to specavers today to get a contact lens assessment and found out I have a raised optic nerve too and have to see an eye specialist next week, I’m really nervous, especially now after seeing this.

How did it go? I went for a glasses prescription and have a swollen and tilted nerve. I'm.going in for an mri next week

Exactly what I may have, and I’m not that scared. But uh I should be fine.. doctors don’t seem that worried for me, they are still trying to figure out why I have a swollen optic nerve.
