Dior is just the best.
I have the OTG mm in empreinte noir. I love it! The GM would be way too heavy and big for me.
I like small OTG’s in canvas, they’re cute. But I’m not particularly tempted to buy.
The Diors are definitely pretty but seem less practical to me. Glad you love yours!

It’s so beautiful, Gene! If you are only going to use it hand held, the book tote is a better choice. It’s much more beautiful than the LV! I’m not a huge fan of the OTG in canvas. Not sure why. I think for a lot of reasons that you mention such as the rippled canvas effect are what sways me.
Yeah, it feels plasticy compared to other Vuitton canvas. It doesn't have the scheen either.
If you’re worried about rain or mess you can scotch guard on your Booktote. I did and it’s been so much less worrisome to use.
How many coats did you put on. I sprayed 4 light coats and water still is absorbed into the fabric. I was too nervous to do more. Your help is appreciated.
@@totesgene I did three HEAVY coats. Like it looked wet after each coat and took a long time to dry. I think if I let water sit it would absorb but for the most part it beads off and I’m able to easily wipe anything unwanted away. I let the each coat fully dry before applying the next as well. I really went for it on each coat which probably wasn’t super smart but it worked out.
Great comparison! I had an on the go for years and I never used the straps- even if it’s not full I feel it was too boxy to make sense on the shoulder :-) I sold my on the Go I was over it -
Exactly. I can see some using the straps but to me it looked os much better hand held.
You’re so good at comparison videos. I miss the days of big bags but I have no need for them now🙁I’m loving the large Puzzle tote from Loewe rn. I would only take the book tote to Dior for cleaning, I agree, I wouldn’t trust a local one. I think selling the LV is a good decision.

i bought the latest 4 seasons dior book tote and also the carnage calfskin book tote in black i have different look with each tote. I love dior book totes, so functional and just throw everything in and perfect for everything 😊
I've seen that 4 seasons. It's beautiful. Maybe you can help me. What size do you have? What do you use them for? I would love to have my be more every day but it's so big.
@totesgene hi!! Do you mean the carnage one? I bought it in medium it's the same size as my four seasons. Really love the black carnage, it's so classic and understated but I love my 4 seasons more as the design is like a art piece 😍
