I just finished watching a 2012 documentary with the creators of Braid, Super Meat Boy, & Fez, and now this song is just pure masterpiece that pays its respects to the little guys of the industry.

This rap is actually perfect, I'm not lying in the slightest. It in capsulates every aspect of the indie game scene, in such a nice way where none are treated above others, despite the obvious fact that Fnaf was really the biggest one out of them all. They all get their time to shine, it's all equal, and the best possible tribute to indie. And let me tell you, idk some of these games here, but if I find out that all the games shown have sfm models on the workshop, I will be hosting a huge open collab to animate this song, as it's just so good

I remember watching this video because I had recently discovered Cuphead back then and I saw it on the thumbnail thinking "sure why not". This video introduced me to FNAF, BATIM and Undertale (which then introduced me to Deltarune) and therefore was one of the stepping stones (no I'm not exaggerating) of getting me into the games that I made so many memories with and that became a huge part of my youth. Rewatching this legit made me cry, I'm so glad these are the games I grew up with :,))

1: During Fnaf’s verse you can hear the toreador march in the background
2: In Cuphead’s verse there is a reference to their Cuphead song(where it says “running like a faucet”)
3: In Bendy’s verse there is a reference to their Bendy song (where it says “he cannot be erased”)
4: In Undertale’s verse you can hear the beat of their Undertale song
5: In Hello Neighbor’s verse you can hear the beat of their Hello Neighbor song
There is probably more references but that’s all I could find :)
