I have a problem with clinch break spamming, where I try to approach the opponent and they can somehow clinch break from a forearm distance and throw me on the floor, then stomping me. How do I prevent that?

Don’t try to kick if you think they will clinch. That makes you fall, instead try to overhand them before the are in range to clinch.
