Your videos always feel like a catch up with a friend so I’m totally in for a reading video or sewing or literally anything. I added Nishiki Market to my dream visit cause I love the idea of the cut cloths and how special that could be as a souvenir! Thanks for sharing with us. 😊

Hi Mel! I semi-recently found your channel and love everything you talk about from knitting/yarn to books and general life in Japan. I'd definitely watch separate book-focused videos as well. Honestly, anything you post, I'll enjoy :) Happy making + reading~ I hope Everest + Tim are doing well and are healthy too!

I’d watch anything you want to podcast about! I find a lot of interesting books through your podcasts. Also, I’m trying to care less about mistakes so I can have more FOs and less half-finished buried projects. It’s hard for me to let things go, but I’m okay with certain things, like my stitch count being off on sleeves.

Loved seeing your Flores again - in fact I shamelessly copied you and made it for myself in exactly the same KFO cotton merino in Dusty Elephant. It turned out so well and I wore it lots last spring and summer, I’m in Australia and agree it’s a lovely weight for our climate. I made my sleeves a bit longer as I’m a bit(!!😮) older than you and it’s very comfy and flattering so thanks for influencing me Mel! I love your style and all your makes both shape and colour

I love the Billie cardigan. It's amazing. I didn't know that about book covers. So neat and makes sense. I also think the earrings and beads are beautiful. All the best, Kimberly

Congrats on finishing the Billie Cardigan marathon! It’s on my list, but it’s too hot out now. I’ve just been knitting on some socks because the humidity saps me of all my energy. I’m a big fan of that Coraline color; it looks beautiful knit up in your swatch. I had a great time hanging out with you. See you next time, Tania

While you've been working on the Billie cardigan I kept telling myself to not fall in love and get any ideas about making it....here we are LOL. I have absolutely no business attempting this as a first cabled project in the beginnings of Korean summer but the desire to have one of my own cannot be denied.

Oh I TOTALLY GET IT! It's such a pretty pattern but it was pretty brutal with the rainy season starting up here 😅

I got bead stitch markers last update and you had put the earring clasps on. So glad I got 4, so earrings for me and earrings for DD.

Yay! That's one of my favorite things about the clasps I get - can be used as earrings or stitch markers! Win/win!

Loool good to know! I have a very selective movie to-watch list now that I only have a limited amount of time so scratching that off now 😅

Can I ask how your 70% wool/30% linen yarn compares to Amirisu Parade for sensitive skin? I've been wanting to try linen blend yarns for summer and I love your colors, but worried about it being itchy since I'm pretty sensitive, even suri lace I find irritating.

Hihi! For highly sensitive skin ppl I do recommend the Amirisu Parade over my Organic Wool Linen yarn! Since my base is organic, it tends to be a bit more “rustic” to the touch (although it softens up considerably over wear/time). My husband also thinks suri is itchy and the Amirisu Parade is JUST borderline itchy for him 😅
