Tim’s shirt is lovely! I really like your red tee too. Maybe it is the sewing machine because I’ve been so scarred by my sewing experiences 😭. We totally need a mini video on your tattoos they look so awesome. Great mid-check in vlog Mel 😊🧡.
Tim’s tee looked great! It was worth all the work it took to get the sleeve shape right. I could imagine how it looks on a guys arm when you held it up.
I really appreciate you going into depth on the sleeve fit for Tim's shirt. I'm about to embark on making something for my husband, whose body is so different than mine and this has given me a lot to think about. His shirt looks so great!
Oh, that colorful patchwork fabric is so beautiful! ❤ (Along with all your other makes!) I’m excited to see your sewing projects. I just bound off my Calix cardigan as I was watching. It’s not quite cool enough to wear it, but soon!
We had a big rain in Korea this weekend that definitely cooled it down and brought fall vibes - hopefully you won’t be hot for too much longer!! I started the norturnal jumper and I’m trying to push through for a Halloween finish….. unlikely but I can hope haha
Hi Mel, I love seeing the progress of your makes! Currently I’m almost finished with a cardigan using the pattern “Bougainville.” I was inspired by your swatch for the recursion sweater so I bought the pattern and ordered yarn for it. After I’m done with this cardigan and maybe another sweater wip I hope to cast on! Lately I’m into listening to audiobooks, mostly mémoirs. Right now I’m feverishly listening to “The Third Gilmore Girl” by Kelly Bishop. Happy knitting 😊
Thanks for sharing about five blades. I got the physical book through BOTM last month but I’m a sucker for a full cast (the theatre kid in me. Me thinks) so gonna try and get the audio book through the library :)
Wow! I really appreciate you sharing how you worked up Tim's sleeves. I'll use this in the near future. Thank you! Knitting: I'm doing a 30 in 30 days with my little mushroom ornaments for the little craft Bazaar I go to every year. It's been difficult with my kiddo starting middle school and all that comes along with preteen stuff but it helps as well to have something else to focus on. Books: I read aloud The Puppets of Spelhorst by Kate DiCamillo to my kiddo and I enjoyed it as well. It has some creepy vibes because the puppets are amphopomorphized but it was fun. And we had to stop reading Scary Stories For Young Foxes because it got too scary for my kiddo but I'm going to finish it on my own. It does get a bit dark.
Love all the fabric you got! I was wondering how you purchase fabric? I mainly do project by project, but that means the fabric can't go to other projects because it's not enough. How much yardage do you roughly get to be able to do that, or like what's the thought process? Also love T. Kingfisher
I actually have a Notions log of all the patterns I want to dive into someday! If I see a fabric that I think would be a good fit, I just check to see how much I need! If I like the fabric, but have no idea what to use it for yet, I find that 3 meters (about 3.3yds) is good enough for me to make a dress/pants/top+extra/etc! I recommend looking through fabric requirements for a bunch of patterns you like and maybe finding your average! Hope that helps (:
Those poet socks are E v e r y t h I n g - fall sock dreams come true for sure!

So many fun (and spooky) things going on! Cheering your kiddo on at Middle School! Sounds tough but exciting! ❤
