Couple things: The fender intake exists on every Charger/300/Challenger. The hood intake exists on most now. The bumper slot is the new one. Every Charger/Challenger/300 has 2 fuel pumps. A master and a slave/transfer pump because the tank straddles the driveshaft. The Redeye likely just has 2 master pumps.
Zack says it’s pretty good for an automatic. I agree. A manual in this thing would make it the perfect car, and truly slam you into the seat… even if it’s fractionally less quick.
Well no. This car has so much power and so little traction that a manual will make it a scary and dangerous car to operate. It will be cool but this is one of those cars which I think is good with an auto

Yes ,however manufacturers making more money when optional equipment is purchased by the purchaser, when the manufacturer does not pay a lot for optional equipment. That is why an $80 000 vehicles still have options, the base Charger is $54 000 before an option

I just want a car with roll up windows and manual locks. A 5 speed. No power seats or mirrors. I'm fine with launch control provided I can turn turn it off when I'd like to. I don't want anything fancy. Bluetooth would be my only request. There is a huge segment of us believe it or not. From basic cars all the way up to this powerhouse, we just want a car.
Why do you need radar cruise when you can just cruise 20mph over the speed of traffic? You have to remember, this isn't a 'normal' car, it's a muscle car. You get motorcycle rules. You pass everyone. No matter what.
I would love to see even a render of a two door charger. I think since it's a massive mercedes sedan chassis the challenger looks way to bulky (and IS way too bulky lol). Would love to see them do a dodge demon/duster with like a n/a 392 that weighs idk 800 pounds less? Lol Just so glad cars like this exist. It has one of the best transmissions available. Look it up. You maybe were talking about the rear end that can break at treated quarter mile race tracks. Get a aftermarket support bracket and problem solved.
Brilliant engine. A shame these cars can't hold a transmission together to save its life. That and most models have as much vehicle security as an unchained, unattended bicycle. Seriously. Thieves are stealing these FROM THE FACTORY.

If you need a high profile example, poor late actor Anton Yelchin was killed when his Jeep rolled out of park and killed him. Numerous recalls for Chrysler transmissions having nothing to do with customers abusing Challengers.

Actually, the first Chargers were 1964 1/2 models. I knew a guy that actually had one and it was rough. Not the greatest model but damn was it fast!

It does have V6 with twin turbo. Over 500hp. Not sure if inline 6 will fit in this platform.

the 8 speed is a great transmission, the problem with higher trim mopars is traction, especially the rwd versions
