I have always wanted to explore music theory. I'm a non musician, btw. I plan to buy a recorder, as they are relatively affordable and portable. I have a long road ahead if I hope to be a tenth as good as she is! However, I hope it will be a fun journey!
John Amber - it's just a bass recorder - there are loads of bigger/lower models - known as contrabass and subcontrabass etc. - this is the smallest/highest of the bass recorders. She also played (from small to large) a sopranino, a treble/alto and a tenor. I know what you mean about the bass having an almost synth like sound - amazing how versatile the recorder is as an instrument and how good it sounds playing jazz!!
thanks!!!! it's a bass recorder by Mollenhauer, really great sounding instrument... and yes recorders often sound like synths - the sound wave is close to a sinus wave.
Viva viva maravilha...vida inteligente tocando flauta doce....No que quiser como quiser...ate que enfim obrigado a todos. Vc é demais menina. Viva a recorder new.

@@septiancahya Hey Septian - Thank you for listening to our duet! We were supposed to perform in France in August, but it's canceled because of COVID. We hope we will be playing again soon! :)
Damn, what a great tune. Happened to find this since I’m trying to learn recorder and was curious how it might fit into the kind of music I like to write and play too (not on recorder, it’s probably too late for me to get to that level on another instrument) and what a nice surprise to find a player to check out and listen to! Really well done.
@@TaliRubinstein I play guitar and bass though for a little over a month or so have been teaching myself recorder, putting more time into tenor but trying to force myself to give each somewhat equal time by multitracking pieces for practice. It’s such a great instrument, I’m hooked.
Musicians:
Tali Rubinstein - Recorders
Asher Kurtz - Guitar
Jamahl Smith - Bass
Angelo Spampinato - Drums
I love this so much I really wish this was on Spotify
If you like it it ends up being a track in TH-cam Music. :P I dunno Spotify is overrated
Fusion and classical vibes here, but in different way! Great🔥
Thank you!! :):)
the most talentous recorder player of her generation !!!!!

Wow! Amazing song!!! So juicy!!
When the superbass recorder in the 3rd minute, it blowed my mind cause it felt like a synth solo sound!!

Nothing really much to do, other than to get melt and be envy at this virtuoso kido, for the heavenly sounds she delivers to our miserably ill earth.

❤ wow!🎉
Do you have a sheet for this? It's an amazing tune!!!
I'm currently working on it - it's going to be in my online library soon in www.talirecorderlessons.com :)
WONDERFUL!!! I love it. By they way, since my name is Ernesto, I am curious to know: why is it called Ernesto's Rhumba?
Beats me. It doesn't sound like a rhumba at all.
It is dedicated to my Berklee teacher - Ernesto Diaz, who taught me the cool rhythm in the riff. And a pun on a Chick Corea song.
@@TaliRubinstein hey Tali, why you stop make a song with Tal- Even Tzur? I love your duet, please reply my comment, thank you!
