FUCKING AMAZING! Went to Future Music Festival earlier this year... and I can clearly say it does not even fucking compare. Yes Future plays House/Electro music but in terms of production, quality, crowd and energy, Defqon does not dissapoint. Defqon IS NOT a festival for 'lads' where people 'gabber' all day... it's a place where everyone can do whatever they want. Defqon is the most unique festival on this Aus/NSW calender and everyone should experience it once!
I have a sense the fireworks are failing from 7:20 to 9:20 and are out of timing for a while when they kick back in again. Never the less a true great show by Q-dance and Wildstylez! Love Defqon!
From what I have read they aren't planning to stop it, only their contract with the Sydney Regatta Center is nearing an end, that isn't to say it wont be renewed or the whole festival moved completely
Who’s here in 2024??😍 I’m so glad I was there!! Been at the dominator a few days ago and the endshow was NOTHING compared to this.. a few lights and kinda no fireworks at all. Last 15minutes songs only lasted 1minute each… what da fuck is even going on nowadays? Nothing will bring back shows like this one. Hope the defqon 2025 will be at least similar to this one or I will quit going to festivals..

they have their phones out during the day. Actually at any one minute of the festival like 70% of people have their phones out. Like a pic or a video every now and then is good but i dont think i would be able to do that. I would be too busy having fun.
If you would be there, you would know the difference. I was at defqon in Holland and at some times (like when they played Lose my mind) You didn't hear the music you just heard every single person singing with the song. And on the movie you barely hear the crowd.
If you want festivals like this every weekend, you should move to Holland/The Netherlands. Every weekend in the summer, there are multiple big festivals.
Aren't those fireworks supposed to be directly rigged to the playlist somehow? Seemed a little off in some parts. I'm definitely gonna go to the NL show again, but I want to go to Australia too. Looks really nice. I hope everybody had a good time.

Or maybe some wanted to record what was the most fucking amazing day of the year and re live it with friends/family who couldn't be with them. You can always go to the Magenta stage is you don't want to 'stay still'.
