DIY Sanding Machine Belt and Disc sander Homemade - Building Video [4K]

- Hello there,
I did the Sanding Machine setup and testing in the previous video. In this video, I show how I built belt and disc sander. It consists of two sections, 50x1500 mm belt sander and 180mm disc sander. I used 20mm lightweight plywood for the wheels. Most of the other parts are made of 18mm hard plywood. I used a 0.75 HP 2850 RPM motor as the motor. I made a sanding station that I can use for sanding wood and metal.

Отличные у вас видосики. Я заметил вы любитель нарезать резьбу в дереве, есть спец вставки, гуглятся по insert nut, с ними будет долговечно и прочно. Рекомендую.

Hi, beautiful build. Was wondering, since you have built a few variations on a disc sander and belt sander (some drill powered), why you needed something else. What are the limitations those builds had that this one solves?

Merhaba, öncellikle elinize, yüreğinize sağlık. 2 sorum olacaktı;
1- 8:43'te Disk kenar yüzeyi üzerindeki kalem işaretlemenin amacı neydi acaba? Disk kenar yüzeyinin düz mü diye ve diskin yalpalamadığını kontrol etme amaçlı mı?
2- 14:14'te Disk kenar yüzeyinin eğimli olması, Bant Zımpara kağıdının sağa sola kaymaması için sanırım! Sanırım bunu alt Disk içinde uygulamadınız! Alttaki Diskte Bant Zımpara kağıdının sağa sola kayma durumu olmuyor mu?

1- Kalem ile işaretlemenin amacı işlemin tamamlanmış olup olmadığını kontrol etmek için. Çizilen yerler yüksek çizilmeyen yerler ise alçaktır. Tam bir daire çizildiyse işlem tamamlanmış olur ve tam bir daire elde edersiniz.
2- Bantın kaymamasına faydası olabilir ama daha çok bantı yönlendirmek için işe yarıyor. Biraz oval olması yeterli. Sol tarafı yükselttiğinizde bant sağa kayıyor. Alt diske uygulamadım, sabit olan disk için yapmaya gerek yok.

You can choose a belt according to the distance to which you will mount the motor.

Ok, it is a very nice hand made disk sander but like too many video, the end is deceiving, i want to see a much better test at the end with lots of comments and thought about what you buit and lots of different test. Thanks!

Guess you have never tried putting that board on a piece of Rigid foam board to route the disk. Whole lot safer.
