Invaluable information! I love where it was alluded to that the hunt is an adventure. Filling one's tag is such a small part of the overall adventure. The planning, pre-trip packing, travel, camping, scouting, etc. is what makes hunting, especially in Alaska, so addictive! Great stuff!
This series is very encouraging. I like the incremental approach. This dream seems very attainable after watching this. Certainly a lot of work, for sure, but attainable. I also like the emphasis on enjoying the hunt with a moose/or no moose attitude. I have been guilty in the past of placing way to much emphasis on the animal taken and missed some of the journeys along the way. Also isn't the attitude I would want to pass on to my sons about hunting. But, thankfully God's grace is sufficient and I have been given the opportunity to learn and grow, even in the hunting fields. "In God's presence is fullness of joy" Psalm 16:11...learned that from Justin. I believe he has quoted that verse once or twice. lol.
Thank you for the podcast. I am new hunter in Oregon. I would love to hunt elk in Idaho some day. Can you guys do a podcast on how to get/options for none resident tags in Idaho.
Excellent info learn so much that I didn’t think of or had any idea about moose hunting specially when it’s involve planes and the weather and for me the best part is God creation take in the beautiful scenery

Do you bring all your moose meat back to Idaho? Do you donate some of it?
We'll cover that in depth in part 4 but I asked Justin and Colton the same thing. They donate about 80% of it to the local town. -Joshua
