French band with a Japanese name that sings in English. I think that's yet another thing about the globe on top of their common themes of pollution and other environmental problems.

@My Special Area Is Bearded Carbon in moderation is what we need. Cutting down trees isn't good & neither is burning massive amounts of fossil fuels (not saying it's the problem but it isn't exactly healthy with how much we pump out). The main issue I think is methane that gets released from cows and the cutting down of trees just adds more problems into the mix. Also doesn't help when countries test nukes in the ocean... well just setting off nukes in general no matter where is devastating. There is a theory that the hole in the ozone layer was caused by the 2 atom bombs that the US dropped on Japan. Plastic in oceans are bad too. I put my recyclables in the recycling bin (mainly plastic). Then the government takes it away, sells it, uses it etc somewhere along the line they dump some in the ocean. Yet it's the public's fault for not using paper straws or re-usable shopping bags.

This band means so much to me on many levels. First and foremost, I struggled with opioid addiction for alot of years. When I finally stopped lying to myself and decided to get sober or die, I discovered this band through another channel called Lost In Vegas that I'm sure alot of folks by now have seen or heard of. So I sat in my room at home and for 7 days I detoxed while listening to Gojira's entire discography over and over. I turned 43 yesterday Feb 16th and have been sober ever since. A little over 2 years now. I have a 17 year old son that is going with me in May to finally see them live. I'm very thankful. Love this band.

This song sounds like a killer opener to a live show. Imagine it, no lights and then the thundering galloping begins lights flashing along with the groove. CANT WAIT to see em in LONDON!
It's a closer and they do an extended version live. It's more than amazing.
They opened with Only Pain when I saw them in 2017.
@@joseguerrero4959 i wish i attended that. I watched it the day it was uploaded and omg it was just so amazing just to watch i cant imagine what it was like in person. I have yet to go to any concert in my life but i do for sure plan on following Gojira around when i become financially stable.

I'm a guitarist and I don't give a fuck if it's just open chugging, it was brutal regardless of wether it's complex or not. I already know that they can do complex guitar work, and that's what counts; they don't have to show it in every song

I think their thinking process is "It will be pirated anyway, so just make it avalible ourselves, maybe get some money from youtube, and get the attention of people, new listeners, who will hopefully buy the album and/or go to a concert" which is fully viable nowdays :)

This song is amazing when you're baked. It's amazing anyway regardless if you're high or not, but a few hits of the THC pen and this song becomes so immersive and huge it literally surrounds you. Even as chaotic as it is, I felt at peace.

en me re penchant sur cet album je suis resté happé par ce morceau, je trouve qu'il dégage une sorte d'histoire beaucoup plus intense que tous les autres, j'ai rarement eu autant d'images qui me viennent en tête en écoutant de la musique, c'est dur d'expliquer avec des mots les émotions que me procure ce morceau en particulier, sans parler de la technique absurde de tour les musiciens du groupe, j'ai vraiment l'impression que je devrais pas avoir le droit d'ecouter quelque chose d'aussi beau.
