I don't see how a country can support itself entirely on tourism. When you think about it, the country is mostly desert. Take away it's ability to sell oil, and there is not much left to support its people. Can it even feed its population? That 100 mile long city makes no sense. Where is the agriculture and manufacturing processes to provide jobs? Looks cool, until you start asking questions.

If the Saudis want tourists, then I hope they do something about barbaric Sharia laws, undemocratic thinking, etc.
I'm not going to visit a big skyscraper if I'm risking going to jail forever for something like a poppy seed stuck under my shoe if I visit Saudi Arabia.
