- The new 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 is here, redefining track-ready performance with its 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, delivering 510 horsepower (375 kW) and 450 Nm of torque. Designed for maximum precision and sportiness, this latest iteration incorporates a lightweight construction strategy, including a new 40 Ah lithium-ion battery and optional magnesium wheels, reducing weight to an impressive 1,420 kg. The Weissach package, available for the first time on the 911 GT3, further enhances track capabilities with a carbon fiber roll cage, CFRP components, and upgraded aerodynamics. The 911 GT3 Touring package, also debuting at launch, preserves the timeless 911 silhouette by replacing the fixed rear wing with an extendable spoiler. With an eight-percent shorter gear ratio, the seven-speed PDK and six-speed GT manual transmission ensure blistering acceleration, hitting 0-62 mph in just 3.4 seconds with PDK and achieving a top speed of 193 mph.
Aerodynamic advancements take center stage in the new 911 GT3, featuring a re-contoured front diffuser, redesigned rear wing with angled side plates, and an underbody optimized for airflow. The double-wishbone front axle, adapted from the 911 GT3 RS, integrates aerodynamically shaped trailing arms with a teardrop profile, increasing downforce and improving brake cooling. Matrix LED headlights, a first for the 911 GT3, allow for a more aggressive front fascia with larger air intakes. The lightweight sports bucket seats, constructed from CFRP, offer enhanced ergonomics, while the interior combines premium materials with a motorsport-inspired digital display, featuring a Track Screen mode for real-time performance monitoring. Customers can also opt for the Clubsport package, which includes a bolted steel roll cage, a six-point harness, and a fire extinguisher for enhanced safety on track days.
For discerning enthusiasts, Porsche introduces an exclusive chronograph inspired by the 911 GT3’s design and performance, featuring a COSC-certified Porsche Design WERK 01.200 movement with a flyback function. Built from ultra-lightweight titanium, the watch’s rotor mimics the GT3 wheel design, while the dial ring matches the car’s exterior colors. The 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 Touring package will be available for order by the end of the year, starting at £157,300.00 RRP, with customization options like the Weissach package (£19,530.00 RRP) and the Leichtbau package (£29,225.00 RRP) offering additional weight-saving and track-focused enhancements. This new-generation 911 GT3 represents the pinnacle of Porsche’s GT innovation, blending motorsport heritage with cutting-edge technology to deliver unrivaled driving dynamics on road and track.
