Hi, the video shows the locations of the adjusting screws on the rear of the head light assemblies. Best access is by removing the complete front of the Ami but the adjusters can also be accessed from under the wheel arches.
Sorry - I'm not the handiest. I have the same issue - left headlight too high. How do I access the headlights to adjust (do I need to take the front panel off - and if so, is this easy?) and which screw(s) do I then adjust? Many thanks.
You do not need to remove the front panel - just reach in from the wheel arch. There are (3) adjusting screws for the headlight aim. If you turn the top adjusting screws anti-clockwise, the top of the headlight should pivot forwards and this will lower the point of aim.
It's always a faff of a job, cars made in the last 10 years are awful to adjust. Scottish road salt working it's magic on the small fasteners already. When I saw the glisten on the road home the other day, I decided against getting the bike out. Good job, the devil's in the details
The un-plated spring fastener was getting a bit rusty. I have given them a skoosh of Lanoguard now. I was out on Friday afternoon, brilliant sunny day, down by the sea and a road gritter past me and covered me with salt (again).
Your Video was a Very Good thing to know. I just wish the Lights had an On/Off switch.
Probably safer not having the option to switch them off.
Getting the headlights adjusted can be a challenge at times and very importance not just for you but the oncoming traffic too. Good luck Doug , Cheers
Hi Lloyd, with super bright LED and HID lamps it is most annoying to get dazzled. Some day time running lights are also really bright as well.
Just want to say thanks to Doug for sharing this :)
Always trying to be helpful.
Hello could you do a short video where is that? i have the same problem the beams are too high
