Hi, what a beautiful place to rockhound, I like this one 2:40 and the pet wood is awesome 7:42 also the black agate is a nice find 8:52 Cheers and thanks for sharing 👍
That pet wood was quite a surprise actually, don't find a lot of that on this beach. Black agates are always interesting, as they're not as common here. Thanks for watching!
Thank you very much! I'm not sure where exactly but I'm pretty sure fossils are found all along the west coast, so that's definitely possible. Thank you for letting me know, as I'm a complete rookie as far as fossils go lol.
Try beaches at Lincoln city, Pacific City and Tillamook. Those all should have agates, although most Oregon beaches have them. Even when they don't, you'll usually know pretty quick because you won't see the indicators like jasper. Hope that helps and thank you for watching!
@@DutchmansAgates yup it does. Thank you, last time we went it was like playing Russian roulette, which beach is best? You look them all up and hear a wide variety of good reviews from every beach. Haha I'm sure time of year and time of day also play a big part too. Thanks for the response.

Nice place to spend a day rockhounding. Looks like you had a good day out.

Thanks for the sub! It was, it's so beautiful out here.
The green creatures in the tide pools are called Sea Anemone.
Yeah they're really neat, they look so otherworldly!
Love your videos. And at 7:21 , it looks like a fish vertebrate fossil

You need a pouch and gloves. Anyway, great findings!
I have a net bag I use for the rocks, no gloves though lol. Thank you for watching!
Man I keep striking out at the beach. That's why we stick to the River. Been to agate Beach twice and only found fossils haha. Where do you hunt?
