I recommend only using distilled water. It is safe for the gecko to breath, as it has no impurities in the fog, and you will never have to clean it! I'm on my second one now. My first one lasted 2 and a half years. I only used distilled water. I've heard they don't last as long with regular water, so that is something to also consider.
if anyones having trouble deciding for this fogger or just misting then this comment is good to follow. my terrarium kept getting ugly water spots until i switched to distilled water.
I just bought two of these for my two crested geckos in their seperate tanks. I agree that the lower/medium setting seems to be perfect. I have it setup to run for one hour every 6 hours, 6pm, 12am, and 6am. I am going to test and see how long it takes to need to be refilled on that setting and also if it gets too dry during the day, I will set the timer to go again at 12pm. I don't want the cage to be soaked, but it doesn't seem like it would.
Use a magnet and rubber band to attach it the screen. With a magnet you can have space so water doesn’t build up on the screen. Also easy to then remove the screen.
I cut a hole in the bottom of a spent worm container and feed the tube into it. It creates a shower head effect and allows it to reside atop the cage better.
i just ordered this off chewy and i had to buy the tubes separately but they also came with something that had suction cups i havent looked at it too much im still waiting for the actual humidifier before i set mine up but im hoping maybe the suction cup part is to help hold the tube in place
Hi Brian! What is the best way to identify the morph of my crested gecko? Also is it possible for a crested gecko to carry white lilly gene and something else? I heard from the breeder my crested geckos mom was half lilly white. Sorry this is so random
Hey! The best way to get your geckos morph is to compare it to a good morph guide, or post a photo of it in a crested gecko forum or send it to a breeder! As for the Lilly white gene, a gecko either has the gene or it doesn't. There is no such thing as a half Lilly white
Yes, absolutely, if it will fit comfortably in the enclosure. I decided to try out a mini “fountain” type thing for my crested gecko just to help increase humidity and provide a source of running water. There’s no reviews for it on Amazon yet. Mine is arriving this Friday. I’ll leave a review once I try it out. It’s called Beeplove Upgrade Reptile Water Dispenser.
Awesome product! I’ve had mine for 8 years now still works like a champ. I used tap water and Clean it with vinegar once a month or so.
Fun fact you can use a 2 liter bottle or anything that fits a bottle cap and you have a bigger reservoir
Great tip!
Thanks for the tip! I've have this for 3 years and didn't know that. 😆
Fun fact shutup

Dude, for some reason, my buddy only comes out during the misting🤣 He loves it!
My Mojave Leopard Ball Python does too lol

Can you go into more detail about this tip? How will it create space so water doesn’t build up on the screen?

this is awesome im gonna try this
Seems alright just, same grips as you. Wondering how i am going to attach it to terrarium. They didn't really think that far ahead, huh...
can you review the Repti rain from zoo med
I can indeed!
should this be used on Arid desert gecko's (such as the centrilian gecko in AUstralia?)
Would you recommend the monsoon mister or a fogger for a crested gecko?
i just ordered this off chewy and i had to buy the tubes separately but they also came with something that had suction cups i havent looked at it too much im still waiting for the actual humidifier before i set mine up but im hoping maybe the suction cup part is to help hold the tube in place
Would this be okay for a box turtle? Like maybe once a day for like ten minutes?

I've never used them personally, though they are on my list of products to review.

Yes! It would :)
Can you run a waterfall in a crested gecko enclosure?

Anyone experiencing loud noises with theirs? Had to turn mine off at night because the noise was too intolerable.

Finally, I can rest easy knowing I have made a real change in the world.
