Man, I know I'm in the minority here, but I really wanna see Narset. The instant I heard of this format, she's all I wanted to build. Also, why Day's Undoing over Windfall? Just curious.
@@lazyfigninja Days Undoing simply because you always get to draw 7 cards from it, windfall often draws less. I'm playing a lot of instant speed cards so ending the turn doesn't matter too much. Windfall is still in the main deck too
I bought the Masterpiece version of Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God, for the sole purpose of possibly being able to use him as a commander, if the RC for commander finally allowed Planeswalkers to be used as commanders. Sadly, they didn't, and then I learned about the Oathbreaker format less than 48 hours ago, and honestly, I couldn't be more happier and I can play with him now! 😅
Honestly, that's how they got me. I saw Dragon-God during spoiler season. Sadness that it couldn't be a Commander ensued. Heard whispers of a newer format, one where a Planeswalker went into the Command Zone, and then... Welp. Here I am.
I’d like to see Narset. I like that you didn’t go with the Elderspell as your signature spell. Seems like that’s the only thing people can use with him. I don’t have this Bolas, but I’ve toyed around with using the HoD version for fun.
I also make deck techs, so glad to see so many content Creators making oathbreaker content. Great video. Wish I had the collection of cards you do. I build first then get the cards cuz I'm a reformed standard player lol
I built a Cruel Control deck using Cruel Ultimatum. It's a pretty fair and balanced deck, although it would wreck any deck that's built on EDH principles.
It does! Here's the official rule about that type of interaction: 201.4b If an ability of an object refers to that object by name, and an object with a different name gains that ability, each instance of the first name in the gained ability that refers to the first object by name should be treated as the second name.
I definitely might give it a shot if this channel takes off and I get the time (this channel isn't even monetized yet and currently I work 40+ hours a week so gameplay videos are challenging) It's definitely something I've been thinking about!
Well let's see...if you find The Dragon-God, play the Dragon-God. Tempted to use OG Ugin since I have him. Realized I had him in an old Artifacts deck stuffed full of colorless jank haha. Just don't know what to use for his Signature spell beyond All is Dust or Titans Presence.
Yep, it's gone forever. I was saying that Deliver Unto Evil offsets the card disadvantage that the mox gives you (which is the worst part of the card) not gets you the imprinted card back :)
@@RedZoneMTG you could consider playing mox diamond instead, its limited in the type of card you lose (a land) but its not as restrictive and that resource isnt lost to you. Food for thought
@@RedZoneMTG geez i hadnt even noticed, hobbies are rough. Cool video though, to bad you didnt have space for gem of becoming. That card needs more play
Well you're gaining 10+ life after the 10th draw so it's pretty rare that you deck yourself unless it's a 20 turn game or an opponent is actively milling you. If that's the case you can always stop with enough to kill 1 person and play the politics game
Who would you guys like to see next in an Oathbreaker video, Gideon or Narset? I'm also open to suggestions/lists for future videos as well!
Gids Please
For the next video, Gideon would be super cool to see! And for the future, It would be neat to see your take on a tribal oathbreaker deck
Gideon. I want to make him but I’ve been out of the game for 7 years so no idea where to start

Narset/Day's Undoing is not an Oathbreaker deck, it's an Archenemy deck lol
Like, that combo is ridiculous
Yeah it can get pretty gross, especially vs durdley opponents
Should do Ajani the Greathearted. Insane amount of +1/+1 comboes and synergies
My Bolas bro, your countersquall was sweet in foil but it didn't have the Bolas quote at the bottom. Got to get the The Duel deck version

I think it's funny cause I just made my first oathbreaker deck and it was bolas Dragon god the day before this video came out
Your videos are good, and the builds are fun. Glad I found you :)

Does sexy Jace really work with Bolas? I mean does the text replace Jace with Bolas? Id really appreciate an answer:)

I've been making ramp to emblem decks ever since the proliferate mechanic has been put onto every card type now.
Excellent video man!
Thanks a lot!
Youtune needs more oathbreaker gameplay

Narset ftw, windfall super busted
Nope days undoing is even worse wow

titan's presence or warping wail are...interesting options in colorless lol
But the mox imprints, which exiles said card. Secifically not placeing it into your grave to get back with deliver

Is preordain better than serum visions?
How often have you milled yourself with your combo before you killed the table?
Well you're gaining 10+ life after the 10th draw so it's pretty rare that you deck yourself unless it's a 20 turn game or an opponent is actively milling you. If that's the case you can always stop with enough to kill 1 person and play the politics game
With 17 casts/draws you'd gain 153 life, so you'd need at least 17 cards if you wanted to kill 3 players :)
Sweet thanks!
@@justinclement7211 np!
Got to play him since I pulled him
Do an Aminatou deck tech
Angrath the flamechained would be nice
I would rather run Necropotence over SDT.
Chrome mox exiles the card you imprint.
Yep, I was just saying that the card disadvantage is mitigated by Deliver Unto Evil since it gets us 4 cards back.
11:00 Yeah But You Also Get Infinitely Milled
Make game play videos plz
Narset
Deliver unto evil 💩 play elder spell every body’s oath breaker is a plainswalker
Narset
