Great shout out to New Zealand at the end. Your channel is needed to offset the heavy bias towards the larger track nations. Even TRP was forced to admit today that Geordie Beamish tactically blitzed local hometown sweetheart Cole Hocker... for the second time!
“Heist of a lifetime”. Never a more perfect statement. I was so busy cheering at the TV for Kerr’s win that when Nuguse’s name came up in silver I was like “wait. What?” Had to go back and watch with a sole focus on the race behind Kerr to figure out how that happened, ha ha.
it's time for me to subscribe, I don't really care for most of these events (only Bol for me!) but these video's of yours are so well put together that even though i dont care about these events i still get tears in my eyes from some of these hero stories (like the 60m hurdle world record being broken and everyone cheering for her)
Individual events are what I enjoy. Plus adding more to the video would cripple me in the editting process haha. Might include them come olympics or specific multi/relay comps.
I think Diaz is not yet recognized as an Italian athlete by World Athletics (needs to wait 3 years since he last competed for Cuba); he will be from the 1st of August (just in time for the Olympics).
I like it, but i am more of a fan of the individual events. Also i feel it needs its own videos when you have so many athletes doing so many events haha.
I was recommended this channel after following the world indoors and watching all the interviews I'm always pleasantly surprised when I come across a kiwi TH-camr You have done great with your channel and it's a fresh and different perspective from some of the other channels. And the no bleeping swearing 🤭 The kiwis did A MA ZING!🥳 Roll on Paris! Our stars putting New Zealand on the world map! 🥝
One thing I think Lyles is overlooking: as he gets better in the 60, he might be getting worse in the 200-the event where he could challenge the world record. Nobody can cheat biology. If he’s more powerful/quick for a 60 or 100, he’s that much more like Coleman and maybe lacking the endurance for the 200. The 200 is a speed “endurance” event. Now, Lyles should still win the 200 gold easily, but he might be hurting his chance to break the world record. Or I could be wrong. But even last year, as he sought (and won) the gold in the 100, his 200 was slower than his American record in 2022. In other words, it is not normal for any athlete to be the best in the 60 and the 200 - that’s different training and a different body type. I get it - Lyles is trying to be Superman and make history. We shall see.
Hehehehehe...your recap was better than some of the competition. 🤣When is WA going to made it mandatory to show up to indoor meets in order to quality for the Diamond League and outdoor Worlds? Just saying. The sport is never going to grow if the big names are allowed to sit out the indoor season. This ain't the NBA and their "load management" nonsense. When you're struggling to make the sport bigger the lack of big names as these events sure doesn't help.
I agree that New Zealand is punching well above its weight, however your excellent coverage didn't require any swearing to pull it back a few notches. Why not keep things 'classy'?
TOO BAD ABOUT THE ENVY AND JEALOUSY INVOLVED. NOAH LYLES DESERVES NOTHING BUT HIGH-PRAISE! HE DID A GREAT JOB IN RELAY RACE. HE IS TRULY A SPECIAL ATHLETE! LOOKING FORWARD TO HIM SMASHING THE OLYMPICS!😊
Just another word in a language, there's no reason to use any one word. Words are chosen based on preference to get a point across. I think he got his point across pretty fucking well

man this style of content is so refreshing. no random yapping and waffling to fill time, just well put together and thoughtful commentary
This video cements Jumpman as THE place to go for athletics content. No stupid click bait, no videos saying absolutely nothing. Here for it!
9:49 I have to stay, I love the way he hurdles the finish line.
Terrific recap! Thank you sir!
9:00 - the headline should read:
Warholm was Doomed.
(as was Team USA in the 4x400)

Easy to shoutout when im in the country hahaha
@@JumpmanTF yeah ... Figured that. I just the expat of 40+ years who is pushing the nationalism button from afar...
I wish you knew how long I've been waiting for this video, my go to track and field youtuber👏🏽amazing work
All I watch is TRP but this is better. You covered everything with no bias or favoritism. Great job.
Some new zealand bias but we take those haha. Thank you
17:13 this is crazy shade 😭😭😭
Lol, nice jab at Marcel Jacobs at the end
This was great. I haven't been able to follow Worlds live and needed someone who knows what's what to take me through it. Subscribed. Thanks.
Solid recap! Congrats to you Kiwis
Also completely agree with rooting for the folks who had the balls to show-up to compete at World Indoors before the Olympics
Can't wait for outdoor
I have to say this video was incredible!!!
Great job on the coverage, didn’t know I missed so many events!
They all need some love!
Jumpan, fantastic summary, loved watching every minute of it, thanks for putting this together.
Best summary review I’ve experienced
Love this format!
I don't want to be that person, but, at 14:42, Jumpman you accidentally said 6.65 instead of 7.65.
Yeah it happens haha
Great vid as always bro
LOVE this summary as I didn't get to watch it. Great work thanks 👍🏼
great vid as usual
Appreciate ya

RAD recap mate!😎
recently found your content, so thorough! I love the kiwi banter too. Can't wait to see your Paris content. p.s. textbook george
Great video.
You left out the heptatlon and the 4x400 relay.

Awesome recap, really appreciate this. I dont have time to follow all this stuff so it's really nice to have it all in one place. Sub from me
Great job. Thank you.
3:07 Coleman left that man for dead 😂
The consistency of Coleman's starts is extraordinary.
I mean I know he's short and sort of built for it, but even so.
Nice work
great video
marcel jacobs just caught a stray lol
nice vid
He'll die of old age before he runs again
Bruhh😂
@@JumpmanTF💀
😂😂😂😂 I was about to say the same
A stray? Nah, that was a sniper shot from well over 100 meters LOL.
Mens 800m didn't get the regonition it deserves, phenomenally entertaining race.
Great video, but why no pentathlon or relays?
Individual events are what I enjoy. Plus adding more to the video would cripple me in the editting process haha. Might include them come olympics or specific multi/relay comps.
11:11 THIS WOMAN IS BEAUTIFUL!! WOW!! Why haven't I heard of her before. That 15m jump is definitely going to get her some recognition
I think Diaz is not yet recognized as an Italian athlete by World Athletics (needs to wait 3 years since he last competed for Cuba); he will be from the 1st of August (just in time for the Olympics).
Jumpman! Jumpman! Jumpman! That boy's up to something...
Awesome!!!
lol good video.
Great video. Not a heptathlon/pentathlon fan?
I like it, but i am more of a fan of the individual events. Also i feel it needs its own videos when you have so many athletes doing so many events haha.
Good point!
One big vid it is😍😍
Going to be making movies soon!
Oh wow, like a documentary of athletes? Or what should i think of?
Im kidding haha, The videos do just keep getting longer though lol
Great channel, I'd love if you'd cover track cycling

To beat bolts record I really think he has to be that superman. While bolt didnt run 60's he still has the second fastest 60m split ever.
Reminder, Caudery and McCarthy have the same coach and train together; so they're really good friends. Katie Moon had a great attitude in 3rd too.
Amazing content, you just need to get it out quicker otherwise, people already know all these results!
Thats hard work, i was already on crunch time hahah
Tia was hurt during US Indoor Champs. Thats why she wasn't there.
Whole time i didn’t know this was Matejhj other channel
Welcome to the latest gig. Gotta bring back the hj content tho haha
Lyles is a BEAST
Missing the relays.
em, proportionally Dominica did over 17 times better than New Zealand lol
17:11 Ayo 💀
You know it hahaha
Great video, but there is no N in Mahuchikh!
I have learnt this the hard way hahaah
ewa about to get a lot of followers
Ummmm, I believe there were some relays ran also?
Relay shmelay! I went individuals only this time because thats what interests me most. But I'll definitely consider relays come the olympics :P
@@JumpmanTF excellent recap. Thank you.
Yo wtf went college with her on the thumbnail, couldn’t beat me at college sports day 😎
Is Ingebrigsten really better than Kerr?
Definitely not now
Her name isn't Mahuchnik! There's no N there.
Usually refer to her as yaroslava between high jumpers, butchered this one haha
Dunno what your calling Mahuchikh, whatever it is it isn't her name though 😁
Why didn't you cover the heptathlon?
Wouldve been a lot more time, already hard to cover all individual events haha

Respectfully as a kiwi Dominica is actually proportionally the greatest athletics country 😂
lets go nz!
6.65s in womens 60m hurdles? That is world record for men by almost half a second and good enough (almost) for 60m flat finals ... for men! :D
Hahahha, mistakes were made
Who are you "rooting" for? Well lucky those across the ditch didn't join Australia back in 1901.
Oh, there was a world championship? Why did they keep it a secret?
Track struggles to market well.
I agree that New Zealand is punching well above its weight, however your excellent coverage didn't require any swearing to pull it back a few notches. Why not keep things 'classy'?
My videos represent me as a person. I like track and I'm a bit crude. Self expression if you will. Maybe it'll change with time.
Doom pronounced Dome.....
I figured that out after i read my lines hahaha
14cm is large remember
Was women `s 60m hurdles winner an actual yy woman?
Don't be a twat.

Knock off the swearing!
Yes good job, throw in some overly dramatic music and you’ve got a hit…
Thats damn right!
No please don’t. The tendency for over dramatic music baffles and turns me away. This is perfect.
@Minouri1969 i think he should play mozart and behtoven and change the audio mix so we can't hear what he's saying😊
Please do not swear with the F word. There is no need. Neither is there a reason to swear in God's name. Thumbs down when you do that.
❤
I thumbs upped for the f word :(
